That might be “most names” but I think the best names are the ones that are a bit more creative. It’s easy to just add a prefix or suffix to a word and go from there, but it’s really going above and beyond to pick a word or words that cause the reader to think.

Jen owned it. But to this day I still think 'She-Hulk' is a lame name.

You'll be pleased to know Goldballs is no more. He announced in today's Excalibur issue that he's changed his codename to Egg.

Betsy Braddock actually agrees, she said she doesn't think it'll stick.

Anyone else think "Multiple Man" is kind of a lame name?

I mean, it just seems on the nose, not very clever, and it doesn't sound quite right. I think there's a reason he's often just called by his (much cooler) real name, Jamie Madrox.

At least, it's better than Duplicate Man.

It’s consistent with the way rogues are usually named (Skeletor, Shredder, Doctor Claw, Sabretooth, etc.). You don’t get many Princess Bubblegum rogues.

Not really, those are more the "death-kill" names. I mean, look at Spider-Man's rogues: Green Goblin, Doctor Octopus, Scorpion, Vulture, Electro, Mysterio, Shocker, Sandman etc., they don't have those types of names. Many villains have natural sounding names to be quite honest.

Then look at Lady Deathstrike. It just sounds so funny for some reason to pair "Lady" with "Deathstrike", it's kind of like having a villain named "Mister Murdercorpse".

Ooh, now I want to see some yob who calls himself that. Or unironically calls himself Edgelord, or Grimdark, something.

    "Captain Deadpool! No, just Deadpool..."

The worst was naming black characters Whitewash Jones and Bucky.

I'll admit that when I first saw the promo for She-Hulk, the name was very off-putting. Even though she was related to the Hulk, I still thought they could have come up with something more creative. But the name grew on me. Or perhaps, I just became numb to it.

I liked Orphan Maker for some reason. Made me think of a serial killer who only offed parents. Then again, it also reminded me of Pecos Bill's horse, Widowmaker. (I totally understand if no one remembers the mythical Pecos Bill.)
