Green Lantern can carry more books than Wonder Woman, so I'd pick that if anything.
Aquaman, because of his successful movie, and everyone can happily agree on who the main character is, and is supposed to be. And the main character's position as the main character isn't in any kind of real dispute like Flash and Green Lantern are constantly dealing with. Arthur is also the original Aquaman, unlike Hal Jordan and Barry Allen for their respective mantles.
The Flash. I realize Arthur's movie was strong, but Flash has more overall and consistent presence across multiple forms of media, more successful runs in comics and better overall sales. I think more Flash stuff can sell whereas if he doesn't look like Mamoa, I wonder how many people will want to purchase Aquaman media. Time will tell.
I voted for Aquaman but in all honest Aquaman and the Flash as brands are both pretty equally close to Trinity status; even tho Aquaman is closer to it right now.
THE SIGNAL (Duke Thomas) is DC's secret shonen protagonist so I made him a fandom wiki
also, check out "The Signal Tape" a Duke Thomas fan project.
currently following:
- DC: Red Hood: The Hill
- Marvel: TBD
- Manga (Shonen/Seinen): One Piece, My Hero, Dandadan, Jujutsu Kaisen, Kaiju No. 8, Reincarnation of The Veteran Soldier, Oblivion Rouge, ORDEAL, The Breaker: Eternal Force
"power does not corrupt, power always reveals."
I could see a trinity possibility in Shazam, Aquaman and Harley. Shazam would represent Superman(the incredible power mated with optimism), Aquaman will be the Wonder Woman equivalent(otherworldly monarch outsider) and finally Harley will be a stand in for the Batman( Insane normal person hanging with the superhumans). Whether they actually sustain their recent popularity gain and actually come near the Trinity is of course doubtful but then look at the immortal Hulk.
