Seems a bit of a reach from a sketch? It does look cartoon-y, but that could mean a lot of things.

It was a response to my speculation that maybe they were actually rebooting it since the creators said a few months ago that they wanted to.

if this is for an animated series, I hope we finally get some Gen Xers (other than Jubes.) They have never appeared in an animated series yet, and designs like Skin, Chamber, and Penance are begging to be animated.

They can do a cartoon that looks at the WATXM timeline the TAS timeline and the Evolution timeline and all the universe's get destroyed so we're left with a brand new show

Seeing it in color is definitely an improvement, but I'm personally not a big fan of this style for an animated X-Men series (if it's for that).
