Default If Michael Bay Directed a DC Film, Which Property Should He Do?

Would love to see him do the Brave and the Bold like Bad Boys...

Lobo, he's so absurd no Michael Bay-ism could sully his image and it gives a perfect excuse for all the....distasteful bits Bay tends to throw in his films.
THE SIGNAL (Duke Thomas) is DC's secret shonen protagonist so I made him a fandom wiki

also, check out "The Signal Tape" a Duke Thomas fan project.

    currently following:
    • DC: Red Hood: The Hill
    • Marvel: TBD
    • Manga (Shonen/Seinen): One Piece, My Hero, Dandadan, Jujutsu Kaisen, Kaiju No. 8, Reincarnation of The Veteran Soldier, Oblivion Rouge, ORDEAL, The Breaker: Eternal Force

I might go with Metal Men.
I think restorative nostalgia is the number one issue with comic book fans.
A fine distinction between two types of Nostalgia:

Reflective Nostalgia allows us to savor our memories but accepts that they are in the past
Restorative Nostalgia pushes back against the here and now, keeping us stuck trying to relive our glory days.

He likes the military right? One of those war comics.

War That Time Forgot. Military helicopters attacked and the men are stranded in dinosaur island. You'll get the explosions, the helicopter on sunset, the action... Go wild. The only thing missing is the sexy girls. Although I guess once the men are stranded there will be less explosion or technology...

    Ooh, Lobo's a good one.

Basically what I was going to say. Bay is all about big explosions, big fight scenes, and eye candy. That's pretty much Lobo in a nutshell. Him trying to do a character that actually requires nuance and more than things going "BOOM!" would end up like The Last Airbender/Dragon Ball Evolution in terms of an adaptation. And NO ONE wants those as adaptations.

I would have said "Suicide Squad" is that franchise weren't already taken care of.

Maybe he could reinvent "The Omega Men" - and throw Lobo in there too.

I would actually watch this comedy, especially if Phil Lord and Chris Miller wrote it.
