I don't remember that. I only remember the R WE COOL Somerhalder meme.

Hickman hand picked the questions, I doubt he’d answer any questions about the future

Very cool. While I'm not exactly thrilled with how HOX/POX was executed. I love when creators at least try to engage with the readers. JMS was a master of this and B5 would not have worked without it. GRRM did it too. Hickman admits the mistakes, acknowledges that somethings just dont make sense or that they are gaps that could be filled in at some point and does not seem defensive about it. Good Stuff. Would prefer monthly interviews with Hickman over the data pages.

So re: Jean. She put it on the old green costume in 137 when she temporarily was free from the Dark Phoenix. So this is this a 70s pre-DP Jean? Gonna need more on this and fast.

Great Q&A. I enjoy Hickman's directness and swatting of boringness/hate, but still giving a lot of meat to his answers.

    Could mean over-used, or over-powered.

I think it's over-powered in this case, because--if you notice--he's normalizing everyone's powers. A good example of this is Jean Grey at the Orchis base. (Communicating at that distance is still very impressive, but there was a subset of Jean fans who were up in arms about this.)

If you have a bunch of god-like people rampaging around, it's boring and brash. An embarrassment of riches. Yeah, Storm has "harnessed the power of a galactic core" (which is nonsense), but know what's cooler than Jean or Storm just floating through everything and dismantling their challenges at a molecular level, or whatever? Having limitations. Having to work with their team. Having to use finesse and having moments under pressure.

So, he wants a hard-cap on who can be a threat at that level, and even then there are still high costs. (See: Proteus)

I'm glad Hickman put to rest the omega level mutant discussion.
