She was dead; she didnt have any clothes and changing or shopping wasnt a priority as she was too busy playing catch up. She left it on bc thats what she was wearing and changed it at the end of the day and never put it back on until the Hickman minis

Do you not agree that she had 2 opportunities to change into literally anything?

She visits Rachel in her room at the mansion and then they go galavanting. And then Laura at her house and they went galavanting too.

Thats two opportunities and there wasn't anything urgent happening. Unless you're saying she just likes dirty clothes.

But theres two opportunities to shower and pick up anything from the mansion

I agree. Storm and Jean are two of my favorites but the way their stans go on about them needing to be all-powerful, all the time is like...how boring is that?

Well, the Red costume scene was a flashforward. She didn't get it until like, issue #4 or so of Red, before that she just had civillian clothes.

Maybe the New X-men uniform during Morrison's run but green and gold. Some of the mutants are already wearing color variants.

I have a hard time seeing that outfit colorized.

Jean is Phoenix. Thats the only famous time she rewore the costume and most likely what is being referenced

Krakoa would be the most famous time the actual Jean Grey wore that costume. Well its between that and Phoenix Ressurection

Given what Hickman's stance on clones are in HoX, Phoenix clone most definitely was Jean. Besides its a bit ridiculous to try to argue that the DPS isnt the most famous time that costume has been reworn since she originally retired it
