I thought I read she had turned it down already.
Didn't watch Big Little Lies and only really know her from First Class. I remember liking her in that, and I hear she's good, so I'll give her a shot.

She was great in both Big Little Lies and Fantastic Beasts 2 (even if that movie as a whole was a hot fucking mess)

Complex scenarios about who and how and why and for what role and what this Matt Reeves Batman jam is even going to be like and what generation it's for and all that hullabaloo, it clicked in my brain pretty instantly that she's already somewhat part of the DCU extended family and seemed like she'd be showing up somewhere at some point. I mean her step-dad is Aquaman.

The only thing I know her from is playing Mary Jane in her two lines in Into the Spider-Verse.
Black Catwoman seems really popular lately. I guess they really want to make up for that movie

Probably not the kind of criticism people expected, but I always imagined Selina/Catwoman being curvier/not as petite, personally that is.

I guess the question is is it a better or worse pairing than Christian Bale and Anne Hathaway, who had like, anti-chemistry.
I predict nothing but dead air between these two, but even that might be better than the previous pair.
