I liked him in Civil War .

But to be honest, even setting aside my opinion of MCU Spider-Man, basing cartoons off the movies hasn't worked out for Marvel recently so I'd rather they not continue to do so.

My favorite part of the MCU Spidey Mythos, by far, is MCU MJ. I've grown to enjoy her spunky attitude, sarcastic tongue, and quirky ways. She is Mary Jane for a new century. I think I'm in love.

On that we can agree. Feige used to be involved in the animated movies back in the day. I'm hoping we can get some of those again.

MCU MJ is great. She didn't make much of an impression in Homecoming, but she shone in Far From Home. Bonus points for being one of the few MCU characters with a broader social conscience.

I hope they make her eventual MCU Spinneret or maybe MCU Jackpot.

With the soap opera elements inherent in Spidey, a live action show would be great. But I don't see it as being in the cards.

There's the Sony thing, for one. Also, even if Marvel had full rights to Spidey, I think they'd want to keep him on the big screen and not spread him too thin between film and TV.

Come to think of it, wasn't Sony producing their own animated series and TV shows involving Spider-Man related characters?

Makes me curious to see where the next Spider-Man cartoon will end up.

Remember that Sony only has animation rights for longer than 30 minutes. If that's the case, then any animated show they'll make will likely be a short-form, longer-episode length show. And, because it's Sony, they likely won't focus on Peter.

That's true. Marvel tends to be pretty careful about that stuff. Spider-Man being more complicated than others, unfortunately.

As long as the eyesore on air is done and dealt with.

I actually would prefer a new X-Men cartoon at first...because we haven't had one since Wolverine and the X-Men.

We can agree on that, friend! X-Men have been long-overdue for a good new cartoon. I'd like one that has more ties to the larger Marvel Universe. Heck, adapt House of X/Powers of X while you're at it lol

Yeah, there hasn't been an American X-Men cartoon on air since 2009.

I think we're a tad to early to be adapting that yet.

A decade without X-Men for small children to see. Perlmutter and his team really did deprive children. And Quesada was his partner in crime with his mandated "moratorium" and everything.
