OK, they're not actually in the bath yet, but come on, it was the silver age.

Does a dip in the Lazarus Pit count?

There came a time when the Old Gods died! The Brave died with the Cunning! The Noble perished locked in battle with unleashed Evil! It was the last day for them! An ancient era was passing in fiery holocaust!

    LOL!

I'll go with.... cause it inadvertently looks like he's reaching for a deadly luffa sponge.

One might quibble that even though it IS a flying bathtub, unless someone is actually taking a bath, it doesn't qualify. But we can always stretch definitions. I considered a fantasti-car myself for a while before my admittedly brilliant selection.

Yeah, I think you have to give it points for creative thinking

You have to wonder what gives them pause? Is it just the sign? Or what Fredric Wertham will make of the situation?

Actually in the image added above, it looks like they are yelling at him to get back in the tub and bathe!
As to your brilliant choice, agree! I can't imagine why Dean Martin ever pulled his name off that franchise, or what exactly went down?

The simple explanation is that the Martin & Lewis team split up in real life.

I think restorative nostalgia is the number one issue with comic book fans.
A fine distinction between two types of Nostalgia:

Reflective Nostalgia allows us to savor our memories but accepts that they are in the past
Restorative Nostalgia pushes back against the here and now, keeping us stuck trying to relive our glory days.
