It got delayed, and should not have been announced yet. The Captain Marvel editorial office screwed up, big time.

Only issue is, can't see that many fight scenes. I’d enjoy it* but not sure the average comic fan would.

*I’d love a comic purely about The Council and the day to day running of mutant paradise, but I think I’d be the only one buying it.

I've long thought about Nightcrawler & Archangel on a team together, not just for the innate visual motif it invokes, but for the ironic layers their historical natures add to it (angelic demon/demonic angel). And on a book revolving around resurrections, with all the conflicted thoughts, feelings, & issues swirling about it, would be the icing on the devil's/angel food cake - count me in & sign me up!!

They had that going on in the early 00s and the demon/angel parallels were a theme for Casey and Austen

Casey’s run is so underrated especially once Sean Phillips became his collaborator.

I don't know, I think Nightcrawler is going to be in a series other than X-Corp. I just don't see him fit much into something like that. However Warren fits perfectly in managing mutant companies.

Unless X-Corp has a charity branch run by Kurt.

His run is atrocious. He only flies under the radar because of what followed was disastrously worse.

I'd normally say the same but the lineups have all been kind of random and I'd be really surprised (and kind of disappointed tbh) if there's an EIGHTH team book.

I can see Kurt being assigned any team, sometimes because he'd bring contrast to the rest of the group and the mission statement.

    Ooh, Sean. I like Sean.
    And Northstar is always fun.

He’d fit with either Marauders (he’d be having words with Kate) or Excalibur (Just for old times sake). I’m hoping there’s a good, plot driven reason he’s MIA at the moment. I am biased, he’s my favourite, but he’s also a good foil for other characters to bounce off, it’s a different world view which is always fun.

I was thinking beyond appearances, less literal and more... figuratively speaking. Dig deep metaphorically & into the subtext, shunting any paranormal actualities in the process.
