I think he is playing with fire in his room and he is going to accidentally set the Summer House on fire. He seems just a tiny bit obsessed with fire, and I am surprised they let him touch the Barbecue.

Hardly anything except banging gals and annoying Scott and Jean with the amount of them he brings home (which is probably what the note on him "stretching the bounds of decorum" is about). So far, there's little indication that Gabriel is anything other than the boy who was in love with greek-roman mythology that Moira found.

While I do think it isn't very ethical of Charles to just grab a previous version of his, what good would be bringing Emperor Vulcan is anyone's guess. I do think it'll come back to bite the X-Men, though.
