That’s what I was explaining, that the sentence doesn’t make sense for it to be anyone else if the love rectangle is staying a rectangle unless Scott is “much the same” meaning he’s in the same situation as Jean. Now I’m not heading into this new era thinking that will ever be shown explicitly, but I like to imagine that this coupled with other artistic choices/graphs shown that we can at least get subtextual hints. It’s depressing but if editorial won’t let Psylocke be explicitly bisexual, I doubt we’ll be at that stage for any of the A/B-listers being anything other than textually straight, even Kate.

Rosenberg has said what he meant for that scene to be. He literally says there was no finality to that reunion sequence.

Too true, lol. I find this to be the appropriate response, especially since it's all down hill from there.

He has to, the less interest in Jean he shows, the longer the amount of time she has to live.

In fact this issue was created and solved on Morrison's run.
    This is just a rehash
A solution for horny readers LOL that I can get.

No, i'm not saying all poliamory are horny tha tonly ever think about sex. relax everyone

Scot choosing jean and choosing him is a far more definitive solution than some weird poligamy thrown out of nowhere

    1. Once again, I'm asking, what does the bolded part explicitly means to you? That Scott's involved with Logan specifically or that he's involved with anyone? Just curious.

    2. I'm not sure I'm getting your notion of the rest of the sentence not making any sense. Jean's banging Logan. Fine. Scott's banging someone who isn't Jean. Fine. Whether it's Logan or not has no consequence on the "and more" bit. Scott could have more partners than Jean. Scott could have an equal or lesser amount of other partners, but he's getting more emotionally invested.

It makes sense when you think about it. Scott and Jean have figured out that there marriage always ends in death. With added loved ones, the writers will now be confused on who to kill. It's to give them time.

All successful marriages end in death. If Scott and Jean are lucky, any future one of theirs will as well

No shade but you seem to forget your telling none of the story.

I would have taken a deal with the devil over everything that has happened with these characters.
    Sounds way more mature.

Yep, to an extent at least.

Although, I'm beginning to wonder if my jokes are being interpreted as jokes...

I know it wasn't mature but still better than what happened here by a landside.

Did you just say OMD is mature? And compare it to what’s happening here?

Oh nawww, I hate OMD with a great passion. Decades later and I refuse to buy/read Spiderman, one of the dumbest decision in media’s history. Absolute st00pidity from Marvel.

Yet, it didn't do permanent damage to the characters or relationships. Peter and MJ are together and in love just not husband and wife.
meanwhile this mess on the x-men has been handled so terrible it has resulted on a bunch of people hating fictional characters and relationships. Every character or relationship involved has been damaged. So yeah OMD is still better.

Honestly both are pretty terrible. One's like a punch to the face and the other is a kick to the groin. The punches continue to come to this day with Kitty and Piotr.

On a side note, why would Scott build a home near the blue area of the moon? Symbolism?
