He forget he wrote previous issues where Scott doesn't give a damn about Emma and Jean also didn't gave a damn about Logan.

I'm the first to say that relationships don't limit characters but this drama does waste time and defines people more than it should.
and it really isn't giving anybody anything, at most we get a scene of jean with Wolverine, one of scott and emma, one of jean and scott and that's it now twenty times more drama, until they all break up. It just isn't worth it.

    Characters banging is greatly overestimated.

Drama is the point of the stories, actually. We need more drama and not less.

Where are people getting from Secret #5 the idea that everybody is aware of the multiple copulations, let alone agreeable about it? It says the husband knows what's going on, but it doesn't say he is cool with it.

For the sake of fairness, Hickman didn't devote a single page of the actual scripted story to overt relationship drama. Unless we're counting the Scott/Lorna and Logan/Gabriel scenes, I suppose?

You just know Jeansus is going to be pissed once she finds out Scott broke her 'do not kiss or procreate' rule.

It doesn't has drama if they are all fine with it. So boring...

Giving everybody a little piece is not how story telling and media engajament works.

it would be too hard have scottemma and jeanlogan on their own?

Drama is not the point of stories and even if it were it feels empty without contrast. If it is the only thing it is boring.
Now the drama has been contained to Jean and Scott on this mess, but their ship is already dead, everybody already feels cheated. but what about when the drama starts between Jean and Logan, some people waited 40 years for that and then it happens and at most it is as a side ship then they break up. Or Scemma what about inevitabily breaking that again, probably on a worst way, Maybe Cyclops dumps Emma for other girl? who knows? Who wins in that case? nobody.

Yeah, this feels like a bad middle ground for everybody, nobody gets jott, nobody gets scemma or jean/logan. They are all side pieces and everybody will get more break ups though.

That’s your read on the issue that he’s established isn’t the case. Cyclops being snarky with Emma or Jean passing by Logan doesn’t mean they don’t care about them anymore. There’s only so much you can put on a wordless two-page reunion.

Definately means that Logan and Emma aren't problems anymore

until the nest writer resolves to rehash of course

It's a soap opera, of course they are going to do drama and jealousy again. It's inevitable. It's Jean's turn, she needs to have a torrid and intense love affair with Ororo, that will solve everything. Then Storm can invite Yukio over and Storm and Yukio can have threesome baths with Jean, just like they used to do with Calisto!

Well, Hickman didn't make Logan and Emma a problem
    He made them a solution.

I don't think they are a problem but he didn't make them a solution. A solution to what?
In fact this issue was created and solved on Morrison's run.
    This is just a rehash

I wonder if 20 years from now people are still rehashing the affair in New X-Men?

By then Jean will be the Black Queen of the Hellfire Club and Emma the White Queen, and they are ruling the world together!
