The battle takes place in the middle of a deserted Ashina Castle from Sekiro. The two teams will start off on opposite sides of the castle and must find and defeat each other.

Team MCU start off in the Serpent Temple to the rear of the castle. They get a basic overview of their opponents and are given a map of Ashina Castle as resources for a five minute strategy meeting.

All Banchou are at their highest levels of displayed power, with the exception of Kongou who is limited to the levels shown in his fight with Hakai Banchou.
