Be sure to check out the Invisible Woman appreciation thread!
I haven't been this excited for a title in a while. Hope it doesn't disappoint.
I was super sceptical at first but the more i read about it the more amped i get. I think Duggs has us covered. Im so glad the book's actually getting hyped cuz its out there compared to what we've been getting these past few years. Hopefully sales kill and they realize huh maybe theres something to fresh new concepts after all...
YES. My King is thriving

This should be fun.
As a Russian, I find reading the American version of Russian people absolutely hilarious. I'd be sorely disappointed if I don't see "comrade" said at least once.

That preview is so fucking hilarious, and the art is SO GOOD.
"I wish I could live life five times over!
Then I’d be born in five different places,
and I’d stuff myself with different food from around the world.
I’d live five different lives with five different occupations...
and then, for those five times...
I’d fall in love with the same person..."

Nightcrawler in it! Maybe some Kurtty! Watch them room next to each other with interconnecting doors!
That reads with the same level of "yikes" it always did.
Anyway, speaking from real everyday North American diaspora experience, it really is all in the context. Mutants calling each other mutie might be too on the nose, but that is how it works in real life. The context behind the word would be why some people could say mutie and others couldn't, were the metaphor to ever go that far lol
Fair enough. I think a lot of the Cyclops gags are still good, mostly because they were always just about Cyclops being a dweeb. I honestly didn't know Nuzlocke had done more than like 10 pages until a few months ago.
