    Default New Avengers #22 *spoilers*

    Here be spoilers, so beware

    - The Grand Society earth is blown up.

    - Namor talks about how it was the right choice e.t.c. BP tells Namor how he breathes only because of his mercy.

    - Namor and BP get into a fight.

    - Reed Richards separate them. BP talks smack to Namor again, they start fighting again.

    - BP has his "energy panther claws" on Namor's head and Namor is screaming out in pain. The Hulk separates them.

    - The Illuminati try to settle down but Namor confesses he led Thanos's army to Wakanda. He tells BP that he once drowned Wakanda and burnt them back down and that they are only alive because of his mercy.

    - BP completely freaks out and wants to kill Namor but is held back by the other members of the team. The Illuminati kick out Namor and wonder how he became such a monster.

    - The issue ends with a beep on Reed's hand...the Earth has another 7hr 55minutes until another incursion.

Why would you kick someone out of a super secret group... especially one that is a monster?

Should have let T'challa kill him.

And damn... Incursions are coming on fast now. Better get another bomb ready....

Yeah...I'm totally reading this in the shop. Not wasting another dime on the character assassination attempt.

Amazing that a book featuring some of the most interesting characters in the MU is told almost completely from one perspective.

I reread the whole series again last night. This is the exact opposite of the truth.

Actually, Beast, Black Bolt, Atlantis, and Namor barely got a voice at all throughout this whole series. It was predominately shown and pointed in one direction from an almost singular perspective.

OK, now the next incursion must be where Thanos is the one to pull the trigger, because the only person who was capable of putting aside his morality and doing the necessary evil has been driven away.

Nah man, Namor is there in almost every issue pointing out what feebs the others are and how they don't have the stones to do what's right. Go check it out again.

EDIT: That's in addition to Black Swan's constant chiding.

Wait... so it wasn't some master strategy that led Namor to sending Thanos to Wakanda? Who ever could have called that? /sarcasm.

I knew Namor would end up telling T'challa what he did in Infinity and his death is pretty much guaranteed at this point.

Glad to finally see some of T'challa's new abilities and him actually fighting on panel.
    Pull List:

Marvel Comics: Venom, X-Men, Black Panther, Captain America, Eternals, Warhammer 40000.
    DC Comics: The Last God
    Image: Decorum

I wonder if Hickman will wipe the slate clean before the Dr. Strange book starts, or if he'll still be dealing with the dark magic inside him when the next writer gets hold of him. I can't imagine being interested unless it's the latter. I'd rather follow Strrange continuing the struggle and not just trying to "atone."

"These guys"? Isn't Namor the only one who's taken such an action?

Which, to me, makes him the only hero in the book. Real heroes don't stand by and do nothing while quadrillions of sentient beings wink out of existence. Forget about your conscience, nut up, and do the right thing. The lives of everyone in two universes are more important than a person's squeamishness.

Real heroes are willing to make a damn sacrifice, even if that sacrifice is their own "heroism." These knobs seem more concerned with how history will view them, rather than working for the greater good. How selfish.

I just wasn't a fan of everyone holding back T'challa, they really should let them go at it. That's the only disagreement I had.
