At least Superdelegates are Americans and are Democrats. Considering their influence is limited, they can't change anything if a Candidate comes in with a clear majority.

There a big difference between that and Russia and the Republicans choosing the Democratic Candidate instead fo letting Democratic Voters choose.

How many Democrats are less likely to back Bernie because someone who recently endorsed him allows arrests for fare evasion? Most people would see that as a good thing.

As a paranoid germaphobe, Trump is probably freaking out about coronavirus, more then the typical elected official.

Why was Dolt45 angry? Because every single mention of Russia’s interference in 2016 brings the legitimacy of his victory into question, and with his Godzilla sized ego, he can’t handle it. With that in mind, Trump doesn’t want reminders of what happened four years ago, or the possibility of a repeat performance come November.

I'm a Data person, but I take polls with a huge grain of salt.

There is a value to them, but they can be overused and abused.

Trump embarks on expansive search for disloyalty as administration-wide purge escalates

President Trump has instructed his White House to identify and force out officials across his administration who are not seen as sufficiently loyal, a post-impeachment escalation that administration officials say reflects a new phase of a campaign of retribution and restructuring ahead of the November election.

Johnny McEntee, Trump’s former personal aide who now leads the effort as director of presidential personnel, has begun combing through various agencies with a mandate from the president to oust or sideline political appointees who have not proved their loyalty, according to several administration officials and others familiar with the matter who spoke on the condition of anonymity to discuss internal deliberations.

The push comes in the aftermath of an impeachment process in which several members of Trump’s administration provided damning testimony about his behavior with regard to Ukraine. The stream of officials publicly criticizing Trump’s actions frustrated the president and caused him to fixate on cleaning house after his acquittal this month.

Even comparing the two is an act of unwittingly promoting Russian propaganda. The superdelegates being in the process are part of the agreement all Democratic candidates make when they join the race.

The Russians have no f***ing business in our elections. Full stop.

I thought I read or heard somewhere that the CDC was against bringing those people home or, at the very least, were against having infected people on the same plane with the uninfected. Could it be the White House acted without Trump’s knowledge? Meanwhile, yeah, Trump only cares about himself and is no doubt worried that HE could be in danger from the virus, the people he doesn’t give a crap about,

I think the "germaphobe" tale is something they made up to explain why he won't shake the hands of common people or kiss their babies.

The man had unprotected sex with several porn stars. Can't be THAT much of a phobia.

Agreed. If Trump won’t shake hands or kiss babies, it’s because he considers common folk like you or me beneath his notice. Hookers? That’s a different story.

We bring it up because the Republicans will blare it 24/7 on their propaganda sites and Russia will boost that signal to depress turnout. You think it's bad when Chris Matthews does it now, that's the calm before the storm when the GOP finally unleash their full attack on Sanders in the general that they've been preparing for since '16. Or did you think the Republicans are going be soft on him when he's the nominee?

All candidates have angles to attack them on, this one will be significantly more affective given how he's gift wrapped propaganda for them and is an admitted socialist rather than them lying about him being one.

Story from 2017 that might be relevant here:

Sanders Wants New NATO with Russia

The senator’s campaign press secretary, Symone Sanders, confirmed after the speech that the candidate wants Russia and Arab League member nations to be part of the group. She referred to it as “NATO 2.0.”
On another occasion, Sanders said he wants Georgia and Ukraine permanently banned from NATO membership, something that certainly is on Putin's wish list.

Yeah, if your counter to the Russia problem is to cry about super-delegates....chalk that up as one of the dumbest, most repulsive things you can say. Among the many things I hate about Trump, fundamentally his inability to full-throat condemn Russia is pretty high up there.

He's got awful, vile policies...but the Russia thing shows that it's all about power. He'll throw anything and everything down the drain for power. If you're a Bernie supporter and your response is some dumbass crap about superdelegates? Woof. That's so Trumpian it's the first time I've bristled hard enough to drop my "Blue No Matter Who". Knock that stuff off guys.

Bernie, for political reasons, didn't broadcast knowledge that Russia was helping him. I'm not angry or upset with him about that, it's a political calculation. His full-throat denial of it publicly suffices. Just follow his lead.
