You're ignoring a whole load of similarities here between the two when they're very obvious when you know where to look. Both are Democratic socialists, both are up front with being socialists, both employ terrible people, both rely more on having people they trust in their inner circle over professionalism, both are old men shaped by the 70's leftist movements in their countries, both are controversial figures within their parties, both are angry grandpa's personified, both hate the establishment in their parties and want to replace them completely to make it in their image, both have trouble apologising, both would rather continue forward in second elections after losing by a wide margin in national elections against their competitors, both are followed by venomous followers that harass anyone they deem enemies to their leader, both have controversial incidents in their past with left wing dictatorships, both alienate moderates and natural allies.
Corbyn was able to win by successfully navigating Labour's leadership election, a path Sanders hasn't got access to due to how the Democrats are structured. Had they been identical you can bet Sanders would have tried to repeat the process in America.
America has massive conservative bias in our media, made by the same person: Rupert Murdock. Which is what's in store for Sanders the he finally reached the general, it's something the GOP have been waiting to unleash on him since '16. They want him to win the nomination for that, it's what they did to Hillary Clinton and they'll exploit Red Scare tactics never before seen since they're up against an admitted socialist rather then lying about one. The GOP aren't going to not pursue the socialist angle against Sanders, why would they? They're as vicious as the right over there.
Don't let Brexit overshadow your opinion. Nobody is saying that wasn't a factor, it's simply a factor that won't be repeated and it needn't since there's numerous ammunition form the right to exploit, anyway.
Like I said, denial isn't going to help Sanders campaign, it'll ensure he fails to learn from Corbyn's mistakes.
Here’s the problem with your assertion. Anyone who followed that election knew it was basically a second Brexit election. You can compare the men, but the fact is Corbyn had to run against a unified Brexit front once Farage bowed out while also dealing with the fact that his own electorate strongholds were pro Brexit.
It was a Brexit election, people stayed out of the election specifically to advance Brexit, all the debate was about Brexit. You can’t say “don’t let Brexit overshadow your opinion”.
You would be hard pressed to find a Brit who was engaged in that election for any other reason
This was what people feared when complicit Republicans gave Trump his metaphorical get out of jail free card. He’s now on the rampage, intent on doing whatever he wants, safe and secure in the knowledge the GOP will look the other way. As I mentioned in a previous post, Midnight Mitch and company only care about power, tax cuts and court stacking, and they need Trump to achieve those ends, even as he wrecks democracy.

Reports of white supremacist propaganda tripled in New Jersey last year, ADL says
Reports of white supremacist flyers, posters and other propaganda more than tripled in New Jersey last year, putting the Garden State near the forefront of a troubling national surge, the Anti-Defamation League said Wednesday.
The ADL's Center on Extremism documented 143 reported cases of supremacist material in New Jersey in 2019, up from 41 the year before.
It was the third straight steep increase in New Jersey, which ranked fifth-highest among states in the U.S. for such incidents. Nationwide, distribution of supremacist literature more than doubled, the group said.
"The barrage of propaganda, which overwhelmingly features veiled white supremacist language with a 'patriotic' slant, is an attempt to normalize the white supremacists' message and bolster recruitment efforts," said Oren Segal, the ADL's vice president for the Center on Extremism.
The materials typically targeted minority groups including Jews, African Americans, Muslims, non-white immigrants and the LGBTQ community, he said. Among their messages: Immigrants must be deported, diversity is bad for America and the Holocaust "didn't happen but should have."

Elizabeth Warren is going after Bloomberg for Redlining
Here’s a history lesson on the racist legacy of redlining, if any presidential candidate needs a refresher.

KYW (Philadelphia’s all-news radio station for the curious) had a report about that yesterday. Is it any surprise white supremacy propaganda spiked since Trump took office and made no bones about embracing Neo-Nazis and their kin since they saw him as their great WHITE hope after eight years of that uppity black man in the Oval Office.

But one could argue that if Trump were removed from office, Mike Pence would still give them the power, tax cuts and judges. But they don't want the media to focus on all that, which they would do if Pence were President, because Pence doesn't tweet 9 stupid things before breakfast like Trump does. Trump provides cover for the Republican Party in a way that Pence never could do.

You’re right, Red Grant could do all the evil **** Republicans want without the daily drama, but, as I’ve said on a few occasions, the GOP fears Trump’s rabid base which is more loyal to him than the party. If they lose Trump, they lose his followers, and without that support, they lose any chance at retaining the presidency, and quite possibly lose the Senate as well.

Well look who is coming back. Figured we seen the last of her, but she is coming back.
NEWS: Hope Hicks, who left the White House in 2018, is returning as a senior aide to Trump, per several sources.
White House says she won’t be comms director this time; she’ll be doing projects with Jared Kushner and WH political director Brian Jack.

Senate Democrats Demand Barr Resign Or Face Impeachment Over Roger Stone Case
President Trump congratulated Attorney General William Barr for “taking charge” of the case against Trump’s longtime friend.
**********
Here is my worry over impeaching Barr. Wouldn't the exact same thing happen that happened to Trump? The House will do it's duty (well, the Republicans won't. They'll grandstand, mock the process and deride it as unconstitutional while Nunes has a cow and Jordan refuses to put on a jacket, because he's KEWL). Then the Senate will hold another mockery of a trial where McConnell once again puts party over country and acquits the bastard, and then Trump is even MORE emboldened while Snow assures us all he's learned his lesson this time.
