    You don't and that's good.

I would love to not have to defend Bernie and myself all the time but it's like a day can't go by without someone making snide comments about Bernie or his base.

So what you're saying is mostly for drama and gossip.

Corruption runs deep in the Republican party, Trump got acquitted yesterday.lol
The goal is to make the case to the voters and expose the Republicans for what they are - since voters are often fickle and easily distracted. Hence the narrow focus of impeachment. If they tried to hammer all his crimes they would never stop investigating since Trump commits them faster than they can be exposed, which would make it easier for his cronies to pull off the lie that "the eeeevvviiiilll left thinks the real crime is being Trump" or some other garbage. The Ukraine scandal is simple, easy to follow, and (this is quite important) follows what has long been known to be the authoritarian playbook to a T. It is much harder to razzle dazzle people into thinking it is something else - about the only ones willing to buy the lies are the ones who need no convincing in the first place; the people who think being a Democrat at all ought to be a crime.

Can Sanders supporters go a day without making snide comments about Harris, Biden, Hillary (etc) -- much less the Democratic party as a whole?

There's the issue at hand -- you can't expect to continually attack certain candidates and then demand others not do the same.

With that in mind, don't expect respect for your candidate if you can't give it to others.

If only this was an actual trial.

The second article of impeachment was for obstruction of Congress: covering up witnesses and documents from the American people.

This morning the President not only confessed to it, he bragged about it:

"Honestly, we have all the material. They don't have the material."

Trump Ambassador Beat and 'Kidnapped' Woman in Watergate Cover-Up: Reports

Among them is Stephen King, 76, a longtime confidante and booster of House Speaker Paul Ryan (and former business partner of Ryan's brother, Tobin), who is the new U.S. ambassador to the Czech Republic. He has no diplomatic experience and had never spent a day in Prague before taking up his post there on December 7. Radio Prague, the official state news outlet, called him "a rich Republican businessman…who worked for the FBI early in his career."

Left unsaid was that King reportedly played a crucial role in the 1972 Watergate affair. According to several accounts over the years, King helped cover up ties between President Richard Nixon's re-election campaign and the burglars arrested inside the Democratic Party headquarters at the Watergate complex—and in a particularly violent fashion. None of that came up during his confirmation hearing.
Martha Mitchell, an outspoken Arkansan dubbed "the Mouth of the South" in press reports, had been complaining vaguely to anyone who would listen about campaign operatives carrying out "dirty tricks" against the Democrats. So when she learned that James McCord, the security director of CREEP, was among those arrested at the Watergate—and described by her husband to the press as a private security contractor who was "not operating either on our behalf or with our consent"—she called a favorite reporter, United Press International's Helen Thomas.

Enter King, who "rushed into her bedroom, threw her back across the bed, and ripped the telephone out of the wall," wrote veteran Washington reporter Winzola McLendon in her 1979 biography of Martha Mitchell, to whom she was close. "The conversation ended abruptly when it appeared someone took away the phone from her hand," Thomas reported. "She was heard to say, 'You just get away.'"

Thomas added that when she called back, the hotel operator told her, "Mrs. Mitchell is indisposed and cannot talk."

When responding to attacks on Bernie, it is inevitable that other candidates and the Democratic party will get caught in the crosshairs. If someone says Harris is good unlike Bernie, Harris is going to be criticized.

I made a post last week saying that if the negative posts about Bernie stopped, I wouldn't go after the other candidates. Two posts after that, someone used a phrase reserved for believing about women about sexual assault to attack Bernie.

As someone who has been following this nonsense since 2015 -- when even writers from both Salon and Huffpost were attacking Hillary -- I disagree.

Sanders is an underdog and somewhat radical, so it's natural that many of his supporters feel that attacking "centrist/corporate Democrats" is a good way to promote him as the best alternative, despite the fact that he has yet to win the nomination while more "centrist" candidates have been winning presidencies and congressional seats since before our respective lifetimes.

In the process of doing so, many also constantly attack popular candidates (like Hillary and Biden) just to make their candidate look better.

In reality, it just divides the "left" and sets the Democratic party -- including Sanders -- up for failure.

    Just like in 2016.

Instead of arguing so much, just prove he's the better candidate by voting for him and watching him win the national election.

If we must talk about stupid things on the campaign trail, let's bring up this bit of stupidity.

NEW: Democratic presidential candidate Rep. Gabbard has filed a defamation lawsuit against Hillary Clinton, claiming that Clinton "carelessly and recklessly impugned" her reputation with "favorite of the Russians" comments.
She never said Tulsi's name. Tulsi overreacted and is ranting over and over and over about it, drawing attention to herself and saying Clinton meant her. Sooooooooooooooooooooooo, yeah.

Telling on yourself when you didn't need to is certainly one way to keep your name out there.
