If you are so worried that we will cost the Democrats the election again if Bernie is the nominee, do your part and make sure Bernie Sanders is the nominee. Everything you're worried about can be prevented with a Sanders nomination.

You said you voted for Sanders in the primary last time. Good on you.

Now make sure everyone else does the same. Make sure they've learned from their mistake.
"Doing the same" would actually mean voting for Biden, as the vast majority of swing state polls show Biden as the safer choice to beat Trump.

    Polls showed Hillary beating Trump.

    She didn't.

Voting for Biden is asking for a repeat of 2016. He will lose.

The only base you have to say that Sanders (who lost to Clinton by millions and came with lots of baggage) would have been a better choice are a handful of polls that showed him doing better than Clinton in match-ups against Trump.

Now those polls show Biden as the safer choice.

The voting base for the primaries and general differ greatly.

If you believe those polls about Biden are correct then that means they were right about Bernie beating Trump in 2016.

To be about as serious as a can be about this particular corner of things...

It is still kinda wild to see folks that watched assumptions made based on polling get burned right down to the ground in 2016 banking on what they assume is the case going off without a hitch this time out.

Not even taking a minute to second guess if the same dog is going to bite them twice.

She was only one the most qualified people in terms of political experience to run for the office as a Democrat for the past half-century.

Which had a lot to do with things like, say... Russian interference by planting stories that made 1 out of 4 Bernie supporters who were gullible enough to believe them stay home so that would happen, and the even higher percentage who bad-mouthed the nominee along with the Russian bots online.

No, I am saying YOU clearly believed them in 2016.

Because without that, you just have a do-nothing Senator who honeymooned in the Soviet Union, voted against gun control, voted for the Crime Bill, liked dumping nuclear waste on Latino communities and compared white workers to black slaves. Compared to the former secretary of state and accomplished senator with inside knowledge of the White House workings who got more votes than any white male candidate in herstory.

What mattered the most was having what it took to beat Trump. She didn't.

When you're running a campaign, you have to be aware of every obstacle and have a have plan to deal with it.

    Hillary didn't, so she lost.

Great job normalizing the Russian interference in the election!

Doing even more of the Kremlin's work there. So now you're starting to make new mistakes to help Trump beat the nominee in 2020. EVEN SHOULD THAT END UP BEING BERNIE.

    Outstanding work.

Adam Schiff Implores Republicans To Show ‘Courage’ In Final Argument

The lead House impeachment manager asserted that every charge against Trump “has been proved.” I fear that Republicans lack anything in the way of courage, and that was BEFORE yesterday's news about the White House threats against them if they go against Trump.

Mike Pompeo Cursed, Yelled At NPR’s Mary Louise Kelly For Asking About Ukraine

Kelly said Pompeo used the “F-word” and asked her to find Ukraine on a map after she urged him to answer her questions during an interview. What an asshat.

Donald Trump Vows To Save Social Security — From Himself

A day after he said he’s considering cutting Social Security benefits, Trump now insists it’s the Democrats who want to “destroy” the program. My guess: Trump caught hell from seniors (who also vote Republican) and is now trying to make Democrats the bad guys in this drama.

Trump’s New ‘Birth Tourism’ Policy Is A Way To Control Women

Consular officers can now deny visas to pregnant women, which could prevent them from access to life-saving medical care. I wouldn't be surprised if Kid Jackboot (Stephen Miller) cooked up this vile scheme.

Trump Turns The March For Life Into A Campaign Rally

He is the first president to address the annual rally against abortion rights in person, according to the event’s organizers. A march for brainless zygotes? Sounds like something right up Trump's alley. He IS on record saying he loves the poorly educated.

Whining about Russian interference isn't going to make it go away.

Hillary complained about it every chance she got but it didn't change anything. She didn't have a plan to fight against it.

One of the reasons she lost.

Let's stop dwelling on the past and discuss the present.

How does Sanders plan to pay for all of his programs?

He has admitted that it might require middle class tax hikes so how will he sell that to a public that doesn't want to pay more taxes?

How will he pass said legislation through Congress, where both Republicans and moderates will be opposed to higher taxes?

What's foolish is ignoring facts due to a personal agenda -- especially when we know the Russians will repeat what works.

    ------
"On Wednesday, Twitter, in keeping with its recent promise to Congress to be transparent about its attempts to prevent election interference on its platforms, released more than 10 million tweets that had been circulated by propaganda farms and their associated puppet accounts.

The vast majority of the tweets aren’t new — many of them, as the research firm DFR Lab noted in its extensive analysis of the tweets, have been collated and released before by numerous media outlets, government officials, and researchers.

The size of this release, however, confirms much of what experts have long suspected about the scope and function of the tweets — and further establishes that the goals of these propaganda farms, which mainly hail from Russia and Iran, involve not only the disruption of US politics but also the distortion of political debate in their own backyards."

At this point, I think I'm just going to back away from this nonsense, because it's like putting fuel on a fire. Every response I'm seeing is tailor-made to only making Trump and Russia's 2020 efforts that much easier.

Which is it isn't deliberate, is a self-own of legendary proportions.

The fact that Sanders had Russian support in the primaries could actually be used as another argument that he would have had less obstacles as Hillary, but I am pretty sure the Russian support would have switched to Trump 100% for the general elections.
