President Donald Trump defended Rep. Tulsi Gabbard on Monday afternoon, after Hillary Clinton said in a podcast interview last week -- without naming names -- that a female 2020 candidate is a "favorite of the Russians."

"I think they've got their eye on somebody who is currently in the Democratic primary and are grooming her to be the third-party candidate," she told David Plouffe on "Campaign HQ," a podcast run by the 2008 Obama campaign manager.
Twitter Link This is one endorsement Gabbard does not need.

Trump’s theocracy comes for Jersey | Editorial

And amidst all this, Barr had to face a crowd of law students at Notre Dame, a Catholic university. What to do?

Like a televangelist under a federal fraud investigation, he changed the subject. To godliness, naturally.

It is “secularists,” Barr charged in a thundering speech, who are destroying America. “Militant secularists” are the source of all of our woes, like violence, drug abuse and mental illness, he declared, based on zero evidence of any actual correlation.

These people are out to destroy the “traditional moral order,” because they believe in the separation of church and state, as enshrined in our Constitution!

The one that, as our country’s chief law enforcement officer, he has sworn to uphold and defend. For this, the Attorney General is now assailing them.

As an example of such moral rot, Barr cited New Jersey – where a new law now requires public schools to be open about the fact that certain historical figures were gay. It’s nice when good work gets recognized.

    ● NY-17: State Sen. David Carlucci, who was a founder of the turncoat Independent Democratic Conference that voted to keep the GOP in control of the New York Senate, announced Monday that he would seek the Democratic nod to succeed retiring Rep. Nita Lowey. The 17th Congressional District, which includes much of Westchester County as well as all of nearby Rockland County, is reliably Democratic turf at 59-38 Clinton
Good one for April 1st, WBE.

Let’s talk impeachment, town hall crowd says in this Republican-leaning N.J. district

There were a few questions on health care, gun control and other issues. But the 150 people at the Cranford Community Center cheered whenever first-term Democratic Rep. Tom Malinowski talked of his support of impeachment proceedings and his criticism of President Donald Trump.
It was clearly a friendly audience for the Democrat, whose district is on the radar screens of both political parties. Malinowski was one of the first Jersey lawmakers to support impeachment proceedings.
What about Trump’s sudden decision to withdraw from Syria, leaving America’s Kurdish allies to the mercy of Turkish forces?

“'Stop the endless war’ is a slogan that appeals to many Americans, Democrats and Republicans,” Malinowski said.

But Malinowski said that while U.S. troops were leaving Syria, they were going to Saudi Arabia.

Why is that happening, he asked the crowd.

“They’re paying us,” they chanted in unison.

“You know what the Kurds paid us in?" Malinowski then asked.

    “Blood,” came the audience response.

Just when you thought Trump couldn't possibly sink any lower, he finds new depths to plumb in his latest bout of pathetic, snowflake on steroids whining:

Trump compares impeachment process to 'a lynching'

As a person of color whose people endured that horror, Trump has ZERO fucking business comparing his problems to lynching! Z-E-R-O! That infuriates me more than ANYTHING that assclown has said to date!

The lynching bit was definitely bad, but atleast it's getting push back from some conservatives. Meanwhile he said, "You people with this phony Emoluments Clause" and not a single comment was said to try and disabuse him of that from his own party.

I'll be disappointed if he doesn't respond to this abhorrent dumbassery.

Well look who decided to back up Trump's use of lynch.

Sen. Lindsey Graham: "This is a sham. This is a joke. I'm going to let the whole world know that if we were doing this to a Democratic president, you would be all over me right now... This is a lynching in every sense. This is un-American." https://t.co/XLB6He9AAU https://t.co/g4i0jVg48X

@LindseyGrahamSC on #lynching “African-Americans were lynched, other people have been lynched throughout History (...) that’s exactly what’s going on in the US House of Representatives right now”.
