There came a time when the Old Gods died! The Brave died with the Cunning! The Noble perished locked in battle with unleashed Evil! It was the last day for them! An ancient era was passing in fiery holocaust!

While I think that I've already said this...
If Katie Porter isn't on the list when Biden narrows down potential VP contenders?
That's going to be a huge flub.
Oh, look. #30 is deciding unilaterally what Democrats should do again.
The names being tossed around are just fine, with or without the amazing Katie Porter, who while I love her, would get savaged by the right for only having one term of experience in Congress and being "not ready". (Because that's obviously what they would do.)
Keep your advice "independent", please.

As much as I like Katie Porter, and I do, I'm not sure Biden's choice ought to be a first term Rep.
While I can see that concern, Porter really is the only person I've seen where I really thought "That person has a perfectly solid shot at potentially getting you some of the "Warren"/"Sanders" voters..."
While that's something of a non-issue if Warren should wind up on the ticket, it's something that would feel like a serious potential "Pro..." if Warren doesn't.
Never mind that her approach as far as "Accountability..."/"Oversight..." would be a very real "Well, Here's Your Alternative..." when put up against the current administration's approach.
Bad signs for Graham in SC.
https://www.yahoo.com/huffpost/linds...045358320.htmlA top donor to Sen. Lindsey Graham (R-S.C.) is switching sides.
Richard Wilkerson, former head of Michelin’s North America unit, based in Greenville, South Carolina, has endorsed Democrat Jaime Harrison.
Wilkerson told the Charleston Post and Courier that he got to know Harrison when he worked as a lobbyist for the company on issues such as setting new tire standards for better fuel efficiency and reduced greenhouse gas emissions.
The newspaper said Wilkerson has contributed more than $10,000 to Graham since 2011 and served on the South Carolina finance committee of his brief attempt at running for president in 2015.
I mean, it is of course not a sure thing, but top donors switching sides isn't really a great thing to have.
Interesting. Here is an excerpt from Reade’s father’s book. (Trigger warning: it is pretty graphic about sexual assault.)

You can purchase the book, Loss, by Bob Moulton if you like. But it does verify what is in this picture. Look familiar to anyone?
With Great Power, Comes Great Responsibility
Power corrupts. Absolute power corrupts absolutely.
A new development since then: An act 100% identical to what she accused Biden of doing in her revised story can be found as part of a consensual sex scene in a 2010 novel - written by Reade's father.
