Missouri state legislator term limits... 4 terms (8 years) in the House, then if he gets elected to the State Senate after that... another 8 years.
I'm sure that the Missouri GOP wouldn't leave a theocratic little fascist in power, and would find someone sane who they can get level-headed Republican primary voters to rally around instead.

The social media spat started with Gaetz firing the opening shots and Latvala lobbing a missile of an accusation in retort
There's a word for what Trump had done----EXTORTION!
When it comes to the lowlives, scumbags and general purpose fuckwads in the Republican Party, I've found that those who complain the loudest about activities they deem as being deviant usually have had an episode of same they've kept under wraps. I'd be shocked if there weren't a few dresses, wigs and oversized high heels in the back of this moron's closet.

‘Humiliating and frustrating.’ Airline makes woman take pregnancy test before flying
When Midori Nishida, a Japanese citizen, checked in for her flight on Hong Kong Express bound for Saipan, a U.S. territory, the airline required that she take a pregnancy test in order to board.
On the questionnaire she was required to fill out, Nishida wrote that she wasn’t pregnant but the airline asked her to give permission to take a “fit-to-fly” assessment, which included a pregnancy test, according to the Wall Street Journal. The permission form said that the pregnancy test was for women who “have a body size or shape resembling a pregnant woman.”
“It was very humiliating and frustrating,” Nishida told the Wall Street Journal. She took the test, which was negative, and she was allowed to board the plane.
The airline has since apologized and said that it required tests to “ensure U.S. immigration laws were not ‘undermined,’ ” according to the Associated Press.

Bizzare
Twitter LinkTrump is expected to add Ken Starr and Alan Dershowitz to his impeachment legal defense team.
Starr, who led the charge to impeach Clinton over a blow job and covered up sexual assault at Baylor, helped Dershowitz get child rapist Jeffrey Epstein an illegal non-prosecution deal.

Kansas City radio station agrees to broadcast Russian-owned ‘propaganda’ program
A Kansas City area radio station can broadcast Russian state-owned media programming, the type that U.S. intelligence called a “propaganda machine,” for six hours a day through a lease agreement struck by a local radio operator.
RM Broadcasting LLC, a Florida-based company that has agreements to broadcast the Russian state media program Radio Sputnik, reached a deal on Jan. 1 to lease air time through Alpine Broadcasting Corp. in Liberty. Alpine Broadcasting Corp. broadcasts on three frequencies in the Kansas City area: KCXL 1140 AM, 102.9 FM and 104.7 FM.
The lease agreement lets RM Broadcasting air its programming from 6 to 9 a.m. and 6 to 9 p.m. seven days a week. KCXL’s website, which says that it’s the radio station that will “tell you the things that the liberal media wont (sic) tell you,” lists Radio Sputnik in its morning programming.

Isn't it interesting how these bible-thumpers always use the children as their reason for their nonsense, but whenever it comes to funding programs that would actually help children in need, they scream about how they don't want their tax dollars going to support freeloaders?

Surely if the women is actually Pregnant but filled out a form stating that she isnt at that point if she somehow gets injured or loses her baby its on her legally speaking ?
It doesn't really matter if she says she is or isn't pregnant. The airline isn't required to make special accommodation to her based on her pregnancy. The airline would only be held accountable if something occurred that caused the mishap/accident/etc. that they are liable for. In other words, same as if a passenger gets injured who isn't pregnant.
The sole purpose of this was to keep pregnant women from giving birth on US territory so that they coudl give their kids US citizenship.
edit: There might be some accommodations, but nothing that, if not done would place the unborn at risk.

Rand Paul threatens to hurt GOP senators who vote for witnesses at Trump's trial
Sen. Rand Paul (R-KY) vowed to hurt his fellow Senate Republicans should they vote to allow witnesses at the impending impeachment trial of Donald Trump. And he warned that by forcing uncomfortable votes, he could cost them reelection.
In an Wednesday interview with Politico, Paul said that if the Senate votes to hear witness testimony he will force votes on polarizing witnesses requested by Donald Trump. Trump has suggested calling the confidential whistleblower along with former Vice President Joe Biden and his son Hunter Biden as as witnesses.
"If you vote against Hunter Biden, you're voting to lose your election, basically. Seriously. That's what it is," Paul said. "If you don't want to vote and you think you're going to have to vote against Hunter Biden, you should just vote against witnesses, period."
The comments were a direct threat to colleagues like Sens. Susan Collins (R-ME), Lisa Murkowski (R-AK), and Mitt Romney (R-UT), who have indicated an openness to hearing from relevant fact witnesses, as well as a handful of other senators who are still mulling the idea.

I know why Kamala Harris was my top pick in the primaries.
Kamala Harris just convinced Senate Republicans to put Trump judicial appointments on hold pending the impeachment trial and that’s one of the most consequential things Democrats have won from Republicans in a while.
It's also more than Bernard Sanders accomplished in decades in the Senate.
