You know that if what happened in Iowa had happened in any other country, you'd have some jackass from the State Department out in front of the cameras expressing grave concerns about the electoral process, while a CIA backed puppet is airlifted into the country demanding transparency and a redo of the election.

The good news for Bernie is that he's leading in the popular vote and a Buttigieg victory won't hurt his momentum as much as a Biden win would have.

Yeah, it's great for Bernie when the establishment is split between Buttigieg, Biden and Bloomberg.

I do like how Republicans are cheerleading Bernie because they think that Americans will be so triggered by any hint of socialism that it'll be an easy win in the general. I mean, that may be the case, but I think Trump will completely have his way with any of the establishment clowns if he just keeps throwing cheap insults and they have nothing to say in response but lame centrist rhetoric about bringing America back together or some shit.

She's either stupid or thinks we're stupid.

NEW: Susan Collins told @NorahODonnell she believes the president has learned a "pretty big lesson" from impeachment and will be "much more cautious" about seeking foreign assistance in the future.

You might want to try to take the blinders off from time to time. You can be confident in Bernie and still understand why the Republicans want that.

Say what you want about the Republicans - there are plenty of apt, nasty adjectives - but dumb at politics ain't one of them.

"The app was coded by a tech firm run by veterans of Hillary Clinton’s 2016 presidential campaign, one of them a former Google engineer. It was designed to meet new requirements instituted after that year’s contentious Iowa caucuses, in which Clinton narrowly edged out Bernie Sanders. To provide more transparency this time around, the state party promised to report not just the final results but voters’ initial and second choices as well.

With so much more data to tabulate than in previous years, party leaders feared that the established system of reporting numbers by phone would be too slow. A proposal for a “tele-caucus” system enabling virtual voting was rejected as too vulnerable to hacking. An app that could instantaneously relay the numbers as soon as precinct chairs input them, developed by Democratic Party loyalists, looked like the perfect solution.

It turned out to be a crushing failure.

Throughout the long, long night, precinct chairs found themselves unable to make the app work properly. Some never figured out how to download or install it in the first place. Those who tried to report their results via a backup phone line found themselves on hold, sometimes for more than an hour.

Among Shadow’s clients is Pete Buttegieg’s presidential campaign, which paid $42,500 to the firm in July 2019 for “software rights and subscriptions,” according to disclosures to the FEC. A spokesman for the campaign says the payment was for a service used to send text messages to voters. The campaigns of Joe Biden and Kirsten Gillibrand, who withdrew from the race last year, also made smaller payments to Shadow."

If Pete or Biden become the nominee, Trump will use this against them in the general election. Pete wins, Trump says he cheated his way to become the nominee. Biden wins, Trump says Biden used the app to suppress the results of Iowa because he was losing. He brings up Hillary again, etc.

The Democrats have made it so easy for Trump to sow division.
Why does it matter that Buttigieg was one of their clients?
    Sincerely,
    Thomas Mets

As Pres. Trump concluded a State of the Union in which he touted the accomplishments of his first three years, Speaker Pelosi ripped up a copy of the speech as supporters applauded and the president began to exit the chamber. https://abcn.ws/2RZvDw0

The social media team for her stinks because god damn did she snap at him.

    And then after...

Speaker Nancy Pelosi on why she ripped up President Trump’s speech: “Because it was the courteous thing to do considering the alternatives.” https://t.co/nYTjAZAwGo
I wonder if she is being sarcastic with that posted tweet, just f**king with him, or her social media team is just bad.

    Who knows.

Her ripping up his speech is inconsequential.

Perfectly emblematic of the "resistance" she offers against Trump.
