"How does the Green Goblin have anything to do with Herpes?" - The Dying Detective
Hillary was right!
You know? I give up with this subject and you. Obviously you want to believe I'm a racist and so nothing I say in my defense will matter. I know I'm not; you think I am. I could comeback and say you are sexist because you are against me, a woman, but that would be pointless too because you'd believe you aren't and so forth and so on. The whole thing teeters on ridiculousness.
Enough said other than to say that based on this conversation, civilization may well be doomed. *facepalm*
Parental care is way exhausting. Gained insight into what my parents went through when I was a baby. Not fun, but what ya gonna do? (Read comics, obviously.)
Early voting might dilute Warren's debate bump in today's caucus results. One precinct reports:
https://twitter.com/baseballot/statu...395304964?s=20Early voters: Sanders 31%, Biden 24%, Buttigieg 13%, Steyer 11%, Warren 10%, Klobuchar 8%.
Today voters: Warren 29%, Sanders 25%, Biden 21%, Buttigieg 17%, Klobuchar & Steyer 4% each.
If Bernie wins big in Nevada I won't be happy about it. But, he is running a strong campaign. So, it is what it is.

What are you blathering on about? Do you honestly think it's wise for Sanders not to use this to prepare for the onslaught of propaganda the GOP will send his way if he wins the nomination? America is not a place that is friendly to socialist politicians.
Or that he's the front runner and it's ok to acknowledge the Russians backing him while remembering that he's not a Russian plant. When he did become the front runner did you think everyone wasn't going to take shots at him in the primary?

Bernie has been getting these same cheap shots since 2016, so that's no big deal to us, we will still support him no matter what. It just reeks of desperation that centrists are resorting to these lines of attack because, as must be blatantly obvious after the debate, you have NO ONE that can win. The smart move at this stage would be for moderates to try and unify behind Elizabeth Warren, but we all know that the moneyed interests behind the Democratic Party have as much hate for her as they do for Bernie. So then the operative strategy is just to on the offensive in all directions and just burn it all down, and hope for a brokered convention which will, make no mistake, not only guarantee a Republican victory but also have huge fallout down ticket and be a damned near irrevocable death blow to the Democratic party as we know it for the foreseeable future.
The Democrats have had the kid gloves on with Sanders in '16 and now. It does seem a big deal to you, since you find it unbearable for these attacks to push you to the limit, this is absolutely nothing to what the GOP will do with the socialist stances and ammunition he has. This is pure deflection and goal post shifting, after all the years you've had Trump's in office and Obama you should know what to expect from the GOP by now but no, you'd rather pretend America is a socialist country then prepare for the war in the media ahead in the general. You think it's bad with Matthews and Todd now? In the general there will hundreds of them sniping at Sanders and they be rare accounts, they'll be shouting it from their lungs 24/7. This is nothing.
This isn't about you or his base, it's about everyone else who will be alienated by these attacks, people Sanders needs to win in the general. Sanders' base don't have the numbers for that to do it by themselves. There's millions of people who will be voting that won't simply be enamoured with him like you are.
Any attack on Sanders isn't "desperation" it's being the front runner. It's naive to assume Sanders would get a sooth ride to the nomination by being Bernie Sanders. Have you paid any attention to what the other front runners have had to go through this cycle?

Sure, but Sanders is much better equipped to weather the storm in the general than any of the other candidates. It's pretty clear after the debate that Mini Mike surrounds himself with yes men who are too scared to challenge their boss or prepare him adequately, and I'm honestly worried that Buttigieg might just break down in tears on stage if he has to face off against Trump. And besides, you cannot at the same time try to label all of us as "bros" and pretend like you care about civility or decorum, while at the same time awkwardly trying to copy those same tactics. Better for centrists to just keep the kid gloves on, your soft hands aren't used to fighting dirty.
Very nice.

Strange thought
Sanders is an Independent. If he wins the Primary, is there an argument to be made that 'Okay, Bernie, you won but since you are an Independent and not a Democrat, you can take on Trump as an Independent in the General. However only a Democrat can represent the Democratic Party, so that means the one who came in 2nd place will represent the Democratic Party and it will be a 3-way General Election.'
