Warren reminded folks about Graham getting money from Bloomberg...

That's only something some guy pointed out weeks ago in this thread when someone mentioned that Bloomberg has his positives...

I thought this debate was going to be a lot harder on Bernie. It's a mess but I don't think anyone has landed any hard hits on him yet.

    Yeah...

Not much of a shocker, but still a downer when they do it.

Obama didn't do while running for election, IIRC. He knew when and how to say it without looking like he as doing PR for dictatorships.

That's why a better example would be Canada or something. Read for the room, Sanders.

    Quick Thoughts:

Bernie didn't get destroyed, so that's a win for him. (Though it's clear this audience is one less receptive to him)

What a ****-show of disorganized moderation.

Parkland shooting, in fact occurred in February 14, 2018, a year and a month after he left office.

Is anyone okay with a commander-in-chief who can't even remember nuclear codes?

The audience was booing everyone except Bloomberg. Tickets cost $1700 so Bloomberg must have foot the bill to get as many of his supporters in there.

Didn't watch the debate tonight but I heard it was a sh*tshow. All thr guys were yelling over each other, moderators couldn't moderate crap, extremely rude and loud audience (apparently they booed everytime Bloomberg was dissed and even booed Bernie for suggesting teachers get paid more), and more.

    Sounded like garbage honestly.

Bloomberg definitely got some unusual applause.

The debate seemed disorganized. I don't know if it was poor moderation, or desperate candidates due to the ticking clock, as Knight of the Lake suggests.

Sanders probably did all right. He seemed to have a better command of the facts than Biden, which helps offset the argument that he's too old. It's not going to sway the people who don't want to vote for a socialist, but it should help with any age related concerns.
    Sincerely,
    Thomas Mets

It was definely a bad debate in general. It didn't serve the people that needed a good debate. The one comment I saw from the CNN panel critiquing Sanders is that he does not refute the socialist label enough. And GOP will hammer it trump will hammer it. He needs to not let that stick.

    Define himself

Yang has good insight on the cnn panel talking about the campaigns were telling them this is your last debate if you don't do something

Agreed. Sanders isn't a socialist. He needs to make that distinction more clear and instead he's mixing terms. So far that isn't hurting him, but it could.

This is a problem since his base are socialists. He has to say the right things or they bow out of politics, they're not going to just shift to Warren.
