Only you could look at Republicans making things worse and somehow turn it into an attack on the Democrats.

Or to put it in your terms "Wait until people are hurting, dying then swoop in to help" that sure sounds like a progressive, forward thinking way of doing things right ?

The Democrats can't just become the GOP. Nobody should ever draw inspiration from the GOP.

To some degree sure. Government is often about compromise. You go against your stated principals to get elected or get things passed. Both sides do it all the time because you sort of have to in order to get anything done.

So now Trump is giving incorrect medical advice about which medication to take during a press conference.

Cannot decide if he is threat... or menace?

So is there a MODOK based on Donald Trump yet?
I'm sure there must be. Probably more than one.

There is this guy from Kamandi.

There came a time when the Old Gods died! The Brave died with the Cunning! The Noble perished locked in battle with unleashed Evil! It was the last day for them! An ancient era was passing in fiery holocaust!

Would maybe Lex Luthor be the closest thing we have gotten to a Trump like president in comics?

Intelligent, self-made, and actually business savvy. Don't get me wrong, Luthor is a conceited and selfish bas*ard of a psychopath, but comparing him to the orange menace is disservice to Luthor.

Luthor was more like a Dick Cheney presidency.
