Default Red Hood: Outlaw #39 Preview/ Discussion (Spoilers)

    Red Hood: Outlaw #39

    Source: https://batman-news.com/2019/10/19/r...aw-39-preview/

Summary: “Generation Outlaw” continues! Class is in session, and Red Hood’s students still have a lot to learn. With Doomed running amok, each villain-in-training decides to use the chaos in order to stake their claim as the one to beat. But while Red Hood tries to teach them a valuable lesson about power and responsibility, Doomed’s actions could, well, literally doom them all!
Out of all the Robins, Jason Todd is my favourite

I'm loving Red Hood's class. I hope they stick around in the book from now on.

So that wasn’t how I expected that to happen (you’ll know which thats when you read it). In particular I wonder how long one of them will last (if it does at all). We also make some progress on a plot point that I honestly forgot was never fully addressed which, I suppose, will eventually tie into #42.

Overall it’s a fun issue and I’m looking forward to see Prof Hood’s tenure continue. Might be to early to say this but I feel this will end up being the best paced RH:O arc of the 3.

A group hug for a bunch of kid villains. Who knew?

Professor Hood; helping would-be kid villains bond as friends.

And finally, Biz and Artemis are back! Along with granny and Pup Pup...

When a team of villain kids in training is more heartwarming than the Teen Titans is...

Ok, that was a fun issue. Better than the last one, more focused, and slightly less fast paced.

10 out of 10 - I got hope and happiness. That's all I wanted from DC for a very long time.

Another solid issue. 3.5 out of 5 stars, IMO.

That's the third Red Hood gang that I've seen in DC comics so far - and it's definitely my favorite one.
