Default How would you write a happy ending for the Hulk?

If you were tasked with writing the final Hulk story ever to be published, with a caveat that it must be a happy ending for Bruce Banner/the Incredible Hulk and take into account the entire history of the character from the first published stories in the 1960s to the present day, how would you do it? What would you see as a happy and character-appropriate ending for the saga of Banner/Hulk?

He supposedly dies in an explosion, but actually escapes to a country without extradition. He comes to terms that the Hulk is an aspect of him and reintegrates him into to his personality.

He sends a message to Betty and they eventually meet up and live happily ever after...

...until a new writer shows up.

Reed comes up with a device to deplete both gamma and cosmic ray mutations from the Hulk , Thing and She-Thing. It works.

Ben leaves FF to live a normal life until his mutant kids are born.

Sharon still has her Ms. Marvel powers and joins Avengers.

Bruce mentors and assists his cousin Jen who is now considered The Hulk.

After a city leveling arm-wrestling match with his evil future self, Bruce Banner/The Hulk is presumed dead.

Six months later Rick Jones eyes him at a small cafe in France alongside Betty Ross. The give each other acknowledging looks, and the screen fades to black.
Continuity, even in a "shared" comics universe is often insignificant if not largely detrimental to the quality of a comic.

he's had happy endings before the status quo reset him

like the end of paks run

It would probably involve some form of coexistence or fusing personalities instead of a cure where the hulk personas are fully gone

Like in The Dark Knight Rises? Because that would be a nice, quiet happy ending.

Is it sad that i’d rather see ms. Marvel in the avengers, than captain marvel?

The best of the ideas I know turn out to be springboards. Mantlo and David merging the Hulk, Pak giving him a planet, etc. All I can really think is that Bruce finds a new love interest and comes to have his regular intellect along with Hulk strength in his perfectly regular body.

Bruce Banner seemingly wakes up in bed and sees Ray Walston floating by his bed. He says, "Uncle Martin, I just had the weirdest dream."

I see the Hulk and Bruce Banner like the Dorian Grey painting. Banner becomes more ugly, and the Hulk is the hero of Banners story. Banner never comes to terms with life and always sees it like its scary. The Hulk loves life, and does everything he can to enjoy it.

The Hulk was not made for happiness just like the other Bruce. Their traumas will continue to drive them even if they were happy for a period. The best way to ensure Bruce's happiness is to time travel and save him from his dad.

That would be a great idea for a What If?
