Steranko certainly has a knack for telling great stories. His Twitter can be very entertaining.
Underrated legend and hero.
I only say Underrated, because he doesn't get brought up enough imo!
lol. Thats hilarious about hunting down Bob Kane to b*tch slap him. Steranko is a fantastic artist and indeed very underrated.
This article might need some more editing.
Got to meet him at Asbury Park Comic Con. Nice guy and was telling the guy before me really funny story.
Steranko basically IS Nick Fury.
Good Marvel characters- Bring Them Back!!!
Those old-school Marvel artists were some card-carrying badasses.
Steranko will forever be my hero for slapping Bob Kane.
WOW... Hahaa! Well, Steranko doesn't disappoint - he's got some great stories in him. =)
I gotta' say... I was the most surprised about the Stan Lee -story. Out of all the disagreements I've read about, involving Stan Lee, not once have I actually heard someone say that he lost his cool, that he himself was actually angry. I guess Steranko is pretty much one of a kind, he actually got under Stan's skin.
I'm guessing, Steranko is one of a few people Stan ever met, that actually shares a lot of traits with him - he's a multi-artist too, and a show-man. Glad to hear that they sorted it tho', which is only natural I guess.
And how about that KANE-slap, eh?! : D That's gotta' be one of the funniest comics-stories I've ever heard. Well, guess that goes to show... DON'T try and b*tch-slap Jim Steranko! He's not like your regular b*tches, Bob - he's one of a kind.
