    I have cried a few times over the years. The below examples immediately spring to mind -

    Crisis on Infinite Earths (death of Supergirl scene and aftermath)

    Death of Superman

    The Kid Who Stole Superman’s Cape

    Krypto issues (Morrison’s Action Comics run)

    All-Star Superman
    "So you've come to the end now alive but dead inside."

    Can't really say I've cried reading a Superman story but I do get sort of emotional in the The Jungle Line when Superman is wandering around looking for a place to die. Same during the last stand of Jimmy, Lana, and Krypto in Whatever Happened to The Man of Tomorrow. God dang Moore was good at getting at the vulnerable heart behind this power fantasy.
