To be fair, that's just twitter in general. Imply Uncle Ben should have had a concealed carry permit and see how far you get. Or if you really want to dry hump a spinning lawnmower blade, say Beyonce was terrible in the Lion King. (She was, damn. Woman can sing like an angel, doesn't mean she can act, know your mortal limits, Bey.)
"A happy ending? So unlikely. We're not having a moment here.
Wrong city, wrong people, all huddling in fear.
No one escapes the slaughterhouse, and that's just where you're at.
(You could've asked Rebecca but then Adam stomped her flat.)
You think you're special cuz you're scrappy? You're deluded, time to go.
Lucy's living on the moon but you're another dead psycho."
Yes, they're also stealing our jobs and increasing drug trafficking through their Krakoan portals! #BuildTheWall #LockThemUp
You realize these are just funny books, right? It’s not that serious.
People can have healthy debate about the ideological stance of these fictional comic books without you turning it into aggrieved grand opera. Why you find it so insidious and dangerous that fans - especially those who are racial or sexual minorities - appreciate the aim of House of X’s more proactive or even radical stance, particularly given the (again, fictional) choices of the in-comic Marvel human race to keep building minority-hunting killer robots is beyond me.
You’re elevating this to some primal moral struggle. It’s just comics. But the fact that you take it ludicrously seriously and are deeply outraged that any fans could say “yeah, humans are pretty shitty to these minorities in these made-up comics” says more about your own hangups than about anyone here or these comics.

Are you okay? All jokes aside this is fiction but this post just has so many warning signs. Maybe you need a break. Or read fearless that had mutants and humands and repowered mutants coming together. What is stopping the other books from pulling mutants in for stories to change the narrative themselves. I don't see all these rants on the main marvel thread asking why they don't use a few panels in their own books to show that side

Double post so...
I can't remember one modern story where earth mighest heros helped mutant kind in general. They are inhabitants of earth. That's on their writers.

I agree. That seemed to be the main takeaway from Marauders. Nobody is forcing mutants to come live on Krakoa. Even in House of X #1, Cyclops just extended the offer to Franklin Richards of the Fantastic Four. He didn't kidnap him, nor did he threaten to. He simply said that mutants have a home that they can go to whenever they please.
And if the events of Marauders #1 is any indication, there are plenty of people trying to keep mutants from leaving, even though they want to.

And for some reason it's always on the other. The avenger line had no problem pulling in mutants for a vs. x to fight them but the editors and writers over there who are controlling the non mutant characters don't even take the time in their own books to show their own heros helping the other. If the issue is really how humans are viewed in general in the mu why aren't they on the main marvel board or sending letters to the writers of those titles campaigning for them to use two panels, just two panels to show they care or want to help ALL of Earth's inhabitants. But instead we don't hear jack. It makes the whole thing seem ingenuine. They want the books with mutants to focus on good humans but don't even have that expectation of the books with said humans in it. Spiderman writers didn't seem to have a problem showing he cares about mutants on several occasions.

Some posters are taking this too seriously. Relax people, ultimately it's just a story.
What I find disturbing is this willingness among X-men writers to show more confrontations than cooperations. There are no more humanists in this lot. I'm too much a Claremont girl to be not saddened by this.
Otherwise, I saw no examples of mutants of Krakoa taking mutant children from their families. Just proselytism.
“Strength is the lot of but a few privileged men; but austere perseverance, harsh and continuous, may be employed by the smallest of us and rarely fails of its purpose, for its silent power grows irresistibly greater with time.” Goethe
I posted something similar a few days back, but most solo Avengers have stories or crossovers with the X-Men that highlight their opposition to anti-mutant racism. So the idea that the mainstream MU ignores the mutant narrative outright or is actively anti-mutant is a stretch. Now X-fans can be mad that they aren’t seeing the mutant struggle enough in other books, but that’s a separate complaint from the Avengers being oblivious to their problems. And even then I still put the onus on the X-office to display good humans (not “focus” on them). Whether or not Iron man was punching out Purifiers the last decade didn’t affect the fact that the X-office wrote itself into a corner with an over saturation of human racism. The insane levels of vitriol toward mutants in the X-books is what needs to be addressed, not how frequently non X-books choose to prove that their heroes aren’t anti-mutant.
