Personally I'd replace the white in the chest insignia with a lighter shade of green too.

Yeah it makes more sense. But white gloves are more visually exciting. They are an important part that makes the Green Lantern costume one of the most classic uniforms in comics.

I believe the other thread is for movies, and this one for HBO Max shows. That makes sense to avoid redundancy, I just think the title is a little dated by now.
