    Default Gamora vs Shatterstar

Does Shatterstar have what it takes to beat The Deadliest Woman In The Galaxy?

Not without a lot of surgery.

Serious answer: I think Gamora should have the edge here, but my Shatterstar knowledge is a bit lacking, so if he's got any feats that put him higher than, say, Adam Warlock's level of genetics I might be convinced otherwise.

The original Shatterstar was a Kree who was kind of like a Boba Fett with a more versatile energy blaster. He might have a decent chance against Gamora. Later, he got turned into an energy-based lifeform that she would be unable to affect with physical attacks.

I think you might have this one confused.

Shatterstar is the dual-sword-wielding dude from Mojoworld with a pony-tail and random head padding that Liefeld created for X-Force.

Unless there was another guy I’m not familiar with.

The original Shatterstar first appeared in Inhumans #3, in 1975:

    ....Kitty Pryde still 'wins'.

    I agree:

Second place has got to be Captain Ultra:

Shatterstar might be third-place for worst costume.

Classic Trigon is pleased to not place in the worst costume contest.

Certain Wonder Man costumes have also been... special.

Oh, he's bad. But he's bad in a kind of 'well, that's normal for a Red Sonja comic, so whatever' way. It's awful, but not like bleach in the eyes. ^_^

Put another way, when it's something that Emma Frost would be okay wearing, it's in the top 5% of bad costumes, but not the apex.
