Umm, I like the pre-New 52 version just as much as the most recent version (I fell in love with the classic Green Lantern/Green Arrow run and Grell's run way before the New 52, and I also loved the version in the JLU cartoon). Both have their pros and cons, just different takes, but both work well. Hate to compare GA to Batman, but it's really no different from being able to like campy TV show Batman and dark, brooding Batman. So blow that...

What's with the Damian and Emiko comparisons? Damian is the only one who is allowed to be a bratty psychopath. Only Damian can be that way right?
I love the fact that, excluding creator credits, the last word on the last page is "Fixed". Both epitomising the reason Lumire was brought on and laying down the gauntlet to the next team.
I enjoyed the end and i'm sad to see the current team go, but I'll let the new team come on and wow me.
Its weoird that RFF is complaining that they cnaged green arrow yet says its not a new universe and the writers don't get him. I thought the whole point of the reboot was to somethng new which this soft reboot did alongside aligning more with the TV series.
Fantastic run and I'm gonna miss them working on this book
End of a fantastic run..Still annoyed by the one preview of things to come in latest DC books for GA.New guys seem to be wiping Lemire's supporting cast.smh
The story itself was okay...but the ending was a fitting conclusion to Lemire's run. In a sense, it reflects the ending of Batman Inc (and by extension Morrison's run on Batman). Morrison, through his entire run, explored Batman's mythology and his past, had Bruce Wayne face off against foes who physically and mentally stripped him to the bone, destroyed his world...only to have Batman triumphant in the end, and putting everything back together to become an even greater hero. Lemire has essentially done the same thing for Green Arrow in a fraction of issues!
Lemire's run, in retrospect, is virtually a kind of 'origin story' for the Green Arrow we're going to be seeing in books from here on. Sure, Oliver was technically 'Green Arrow' for all these years in-universe. But he's basically just been a vigilante and member of a Justice League team. But now, having gone through the wringer by facing off against Komodo and the Outsiders, learning the truth about his origin, defeating Richard Dragon, and having found a new 'family' and renewed purpose at the end of it all...Oliver has truly become worthy of being the 'Green Arrow' in the end.
I AM curious about the future of this book under Kriesberg through. So I guess Emiko will be sticking around as GA's sidekick (will she officially be called 'Speedy' though?). Diggle is obviously going to be on the team (part of the 'synergy' with the show I suppose). I wonder how Felicity is going to be introduced, with Naomi still around? And what becomes of Fyff?
^What is the point of introducing Felicity when there's Fyff and Naomi already there to cover tech specialist?..Well anyway my pull has gotten big and i was looking to cut books..This and Wonder woman(Azz run ending) will be gone
I'm going to miss Lemire and especially Sorentino, but i'm willing to give the new team the new team a shot. I don't mind Felicity coming into the mx if they decide to keep Namoi and more to the point flyff.
Just going by that description and the promo art you can tell their going for a more Arrow vibe with the plotting. Bruce and Lex are probably in town as apart of a queen industries plot line, which i'm guessing felecitiy will be apart of. My guess is that Emikio and Diggle will be in the GA stuff which will be much more street level like Arrow & Broken.
Also I think Kriesenburg will only be on the first arc or two, before his co-writer takes over.
