With all due respect, please not a cat. For some reason, it's become the symbol of single women in comics - Supergirl had a cat, Power Girl had a cat, Captain Marvel had a cat (okay, a flerkin, but before that writer, it was a cat ), and in the pilot for the WW TV show a few years back, Diana had a cat.

I just like cats and there's a lack of cat as protagonist pet but they never give them to the men except for Damian.

A Pegasus as a pet is interesting, but a bit... repetitive? IIRC it's been done with amazons in DC rather often.

Hmm.... what hasn't? Honestly, most pets in comics are things people would want as pets IRL. then you have the issue of being able to write it into a story without it being the story. Maybe a baby Hydra? just draw it as a 12-foot 3 headed snake that lives in a cage.

Jumpa, definitely. Things are often so grim in modern comics. Bringing back a lighter element would be nice.

To me it's ridiculous that Batman's familiar isn't a fricking domesticated BAT instead of Ace who is just another dog.
