Why should they have to agree with that though? Franklin is a whole child, the current version of him have never gave a damn about the mutant plight. He got the message same as everyone else and for whatever reason he ignored it. Now their trying to force their ideology on a child it's just not a good look. Especially when he has loving parents who have already gave their answer on the subject.

They literally just have to wait 2 more years for him to become an adult then they can approach him all they want. At this moment in time it's just not the move comes off very culty... Just Saying *shrugs*

Maybe Xavier should be more focused on trying to find/be a father to his own child while he's trying to convert other peoples kids. And maybe Eric the holocaust survivor should recognize the hypocrisy of trying to split up a happy family.

X and Magneto seem real shady here. What do they really want Franklin for

Reed in the past said that the powers of Franklin are following his natural course of action, and isn't the first time Franklin loses his power. I hope they will establish finally that Franklin wont have all his powers permanently until he reaches the million of years or something like that.

And clearly the X-men doesnt know about the involvement of Franklin in the restoration of the multiverse

He is an accounted Omega level mutant and he must be protected , He provides an open target without his memories being properly restored for ressurection , he's actually quite essential to the status quo.

I think a lot of people who are mad aren't actually reading the current FF run. Franklin himself is emo about his powers, wants to find purpose in the world and is scoffing at his parents' authority. The X-Men aren't intruding on a Norman Rockwell painting.

I highly doubt Reed or Sue care about Krakoa's laws. That hardly affects their status quo they been keeping the kid alive for years.

Side note when the hell does this even take place? Because Kate is dead or at least dying last I checked so this has to take place somewhere between issues 1 -4 of Marauder

It's beyond Reed and Sue , He is a mutant and while it hasn't played a major factor but if hes outed as a mutant based on the new status quo he's in danger more than they can help and the current Franklin wants to no more about his mutation so let him.

Do you think orchis or Xeno are more dangerous than Doom or Anihilus? the danger he faces for being the son of Reed Richards is x100 times greater than being a mutant.

    It's not beyond tbh.

    1. They are heroes in their own right. Constantly threatened, this is no different. They aren't civilians, they aren't suddenly in more danger than they already are with people like Doom and Annihilus appearing every week.

    2. Franklin is a minor. Magneto can play the "young man" card all he wants, fact is that's it's not Franklin's decision at the end of the day. Even if he wants to go, he's not the one they really need to win over. It's the parents.

Truth be told, while I can see Kitty's motivations being sincere. Magneto's and Xaviers are just a play for power. that's why they want him. It's not altruistic, they want to increase Krakoa's power and Franklin is a great way to do that. They themselves practically said that he's safe with his family.

Leave Franklin alone, damned creepers, unless you approach him and his parents with respect and he unequivocally wants to come.

He's not some poor kid with uninformed parents that can't raise, train, or house a super-child. They've been doing it just fine for 10 years.

It's not like he got exploded on a bus.

Who among the X-Men is supposed to help Franklin? McCoy? Apocalypse? The Mutant-Mengele Sinister? None of their experts play even in the same league as Reed, not to mention that they shouldn't even be allowed around minors without close supervision.

Apocalypse is extremely familiar with Celestial technology and manipulating cosmic energy
Jamie Braddock and Proteus are both reality warpers
Xavier has a ton of experience mentoring and working with reality warpers like Legion, Proteus and unsuccessfully Wanda
