Ok, more or less we all know which have the possibility of redemption (Exodus, Toad) and which do not (Selene, Sinister) but the problem is to make a difference in the comic.
And then, there is how you execute them. What's the plan? Send X-Force around the world killing all the evil mutants who oppose Krakoa? How do you avoid crossing the line between an evil mutant that opposes Krakoa and a mutant that opposes Krakoa?
wasn't this already discussed in the HoX/PoX discussion thread?

I thini that the X-Men had enough expirience with then to make a distinction, or are you going to tell me that any of the X-Men think that Sinister has any sort of goodness inside of him, i seriously doubt it. For another side, i think that Xavier and Magneto are trying to give everyone an equal chance, so in the case of one of then betraying then they can say that they were fair and gave then a genuine opportunity and they blow it by thenselves.

In Amazing Spider-man, in Hunted, I don't remember the exact comic. Strange makes a mystical analysis of Curt's son and confirms that he has the soul of the former. All those resurrected by the new method of Ben Reilly retain their soul, even if it is done by cloning.
Really, the Marvel Universe is very flexible with the theme of souls.
It's complete non-sense to claim they're not the real deal. First of all, LITERALLY every Marvel hero has died at least once, and most multiple times. Hickman himself killed nearly everyone in Secret Wars. Second, everyone that teleports has to have his molecules re-arranged at the next location. By that way of thinking, Nightcrawler or Magik stop being themselves every time they use their powers, as well as everyone they carry around.
Also this.
