Thought it was obvious Jean would be the one pulling that card in the event of her characters arcs not taking off. Thus why'd she be whining about Scott being an evil cheating ex husband, Hickman hating her, X-Men Red being the greatest book ever and Scott ruining everything.
Ah, come on, aren't you looking forward to Councilwoman Jean becoming Queen Moira's i̶n̶t̶e̶r̶c̶h̶a̶n̶g̶e̶a̶b̶l̶e̶ ̶y̶e̶s̶-̶w̶o̶m̶a̶n̶, I mean, d̶i̶s̶p̶o̶s̶a̶b̶l̶e̶ ̶d̶r̶o̶n̶e̶, I mean valued Right Hand during the inevitable Krakoan Civil War? Only for Right Hand Jean to realize Queen Moira's lies weren't particularly better or worse than Daddy X/MagDaddy's, seize the Iron Throne for herself, pull a Deanerys on Krakoa's ungrateful non-Jeansus-worshipping masses and FINALLY get her all-new, all-different updated Dark Phoenix saga? Pretty rad, right?
And if that's not enough, there's plenty to look forward to in the meantime, too. Jean becoming Logan's s̶i̶d̶e̶k̶i̶c̶k̶ one true love, Jean becoming Emma's s̶i̶d̶e̶k̶i̶c̶k̶ valued frenemy, Jean becoming Beast's s̶i̶d̶e̶k̶i̶c̶k̶ lab assistant, Jean becoming Sage's s̶i̶d̶e̶k̶i̶c̶k̶ administrative assistant, Jean becoming Kitty's s̶i̶d̶e̶k̶i̶c̶k̶ yeah, I got nothing, but, hey, at least she'll get to hang out with Ororo. Heck, Scott might even be so kind as to utter more than one word to her the next time they interact.
I'd love very much if in the next years, Scott and Jean continued together, but didn't say anything to each other that wasn't related to missions like it is so far. I wonder if even Hickman is so good of a troll.
Do Emma fans even care abt Jean? Its a pretty one sided feud.
I really don't want to be that person but Jean has done nothing to Emma, of course Emma fans don't have reason to hate Jean.
Meanwhile Jean was dumped and killed for more than a decade just at the same time that emma and scemma were pushed. Not saying that is the only reason but it sure didn't help.
There are Jean fans who like Emma though.

Oh deary dear,
Emma would be horrified at such commonality, she's becoming as common as muck!
With such dreadfully teenage spats to her image too.
Saturation point imminent.
