She allied herself with the X-Men currently, so I meant she would have been a better team addition than Apocalypse.

But, yeah, I have little doubt she's planning to sacrifice the entire island to achieve godhood.

Selene shouldnt ever be any one's underling. But she'd have made a good consort for Death/Archangel.

I take Apocalypse current statu quo as a reflection of Xavier's. His goals are the sameas ever but the world has changed so he gotta change his methods.

Can we get a Saturnine/Ozymandias team-up? These Excalibabes aren’t ready.

Along with Marauders, I liked this more than X-Men proper. The characters that interest me seem to be front and center, that’s a plus. And the art is the best in Dawn of X thus far IMO!

But this Apocalypse is a totally different character. It's not the Ancient Egyptian / celestial tech / survival of the fittest / megalomaniacal villain. Now we have an Egyptian sorcerer involved with Krakoa.

I wonder what will they do with Genesis now.

Yeah, i think that we should see this Apocalypse as a reimagination of the characther, wich is understandable when you remember that comicApoc hasn't been much of a threat for decades.

I am still waiting on best boy.

As for Apocalypse, he has ages of history and knowledge. I can buy him turning to his more scholarly pursuits with mutantdom finally on the ascent. That doesn't absolve him of centuries of evil, and the X-Men clearly have not forgotten. But he is an invaluable asset, and thus far seems committed to Krakoa and coexistence with them.

You’re acting Nd like it’s such a drastic change. Apocalypse got what he wanted so he’s decided to evolve. He’s had Celestial tech, but he’s also deeply rooted in Egypt mythology so I can’t say it’s too hard to imagine he’d one day go down the magic route. And if we’re still complaining about him being a villain.....

Nah, dude. It’s pretty obvious if you just stop and think about it. Not to mention Betsy mentions Kwannon when she later talks to Brian. Why would Laura make sense in that scenario?

Anyways, why doesn’t Trinary just join the main cast? It’s nice that she has such a vital role to Krakoa but I really need her on a team book
