What are some comedies, dramas etc. they could redo as horror flicks? Maybe 80's rom-coms as psycho stalker flicks or Mannequin as an evil dummy.

I'd like to see obscure 70's urban flick Petey Wheatrstraw remade by Jordan Peele. Petey is an entertainer given a walking cane by a mysterious gentleman (Satan). He uses it to turn back time, prevent the violent deaths of loved ones and do a lot of good in the 'hood. Some demons rise from the netherworld to fetch the cane...and his soul.

Ghostbusters could have nasty "The Entity" type ghosts, with being "slimed" taking on a horrible new meanng! The GBs could me more kick-ass like the soldiers in Aliens or Predator

TMNT could be more monsterous with slasher movie type weapons

Batman could be like Man-bat or a "Red Rain" vampire.

Robocop - mulfunctioning disfigured cyborg who sees *everyone* as a lawbreaker deserving execution...

Rocketeer - Nazis take over US. Death camps and evil experiments. Rocketeer is the last form of resistance.

Willy Wonka as a Se7en/Saw type killer punishing greed, gluttony etc.
