I just read issue 6 of The Uncanny Xmen. Namor joined Magneto and his Brotherhood of Evil Mutants for a bit. Magneto floated the idea that he was a mutant. So is Namor a mutant or was Magneto just trying to get him on his side?

Namor can also breathe in and out of water without a breathing device or serum.
All of these can be attributed to his mutant nature.
