So in the background (not sure issue saw the image online) of one of the post hox issues there is a boy that is part squid.... but looks nothing like our squidboy. Do you think it's a reference to him? Maybe he got resurrected and went under secondary mutation to a new squid/human form? I know long shot I just want Sammy back!

Probably not him but I could see him being BFFs with Sammy à la Artie and Leech.
