    Ed Brubaker
It's the Dynamic Duo! Batman and Robin!... and Red Robin and Red Hood and Nightwing and Batwoman and Batgirl and Orphan and Spoiler and Bluebird and Lark and Gotham Girl and Talon and Batwing and Huntress and Azreal and Flamebird and Batcow?

Since when could just anybody do what we trained to do? It makes it all dumb instead of special. Like it doesn't matter anymore.

I'd be for that. 12 issues, each roughly covering 3 months of WWII.

I’d like Waid to come back and do that Superman run he’s always wanted to do, but that’s not happening as long as Didio and Harras are at DC.
Paul Cornell, he wrote one of my favorite Lex Luthor stories The Black Ring, and Demon Knights was awesome too.
Love to see Garth Ennis do a DC WWII comic.

THIS, I don't know if Roy still has his fastball but I would love to see this, heck at least put Thomas in as editor and "showrunner" for say a JSA, Freedom Fighters, and dare I hope Infinity Inc titles.

J Michael straczynski. Other than Bendis, probably my all time favorite writer. Put him on anything!

I wonder if Waid would fit in with Bendis' Superman books to be honest.

Probably not. I’d rather have him write a Black Label follow up to Birthright to be perfectly honest.

Jimenez on WW. Again in its own mini or maxi. I really have no desire to see anyone I actually like being wasted during the 5G era.

Seconded. I can only imagine what could’ve been if he had become EiC years back. Sigh...

    I’d also add Chuck Dixon.

Simone, I don't think she's currently writing anything at DC.

Just "a bit"?!? You're being WAY too nice.

Yeah, I had forgotten about that when I made the original post. I later remembered and thought about amending the post but decided to stick with it. Rucka back on WW along with Nicola Scott is definitely on my wish list so I decided to stand by it.

I would love Brubaker to come back and write a cycle of Gotham Central with Bendis writing Metropolis PD, they both can write gritty crime dramas like no other
