Default Who should write a Green Arrow Regular?

Simple question guys... What do you think?

I think they should give it to Tom Taylor. People may hate DCeased or Injustice for whatever reason, but gotta admit he handles both Ollie and Dinah masterfully. Plus, we haven't had a good GA book since Jeff Lemire.

Tom Taylor should definitely write a Green Arrow. I just hope he brings in obscure villains or create new ones with staying power. I like Merlyn, Count Vertigo and Shado as much as the next guy. But I’m a bit burnt out on them.
Imagine being proud to have negative traits. I can’t relate.

DC: Justice League, The Flash, Justice League Dark, Superman, Action Comics, Green Arrow, Justice League Odyssey, The Terrifics, Teen Titans, Titans, Brimstone, Female Furies, Damage, Heroes In Crisis

Marvel: The Punisher, Cosmic Ghost Rider, Venom, X-23, Cloak and Dagger, Jessica Jones, Sentry

Indies: Unnatural, Jeepers Creepers, Project Superpowers, Black Hammer, Ninja-K

His one storyline just wasn't enough for me. I'd love him to take it for 12-24 issues and REALLY run wild.

I would also be happy to see Bendis take a swing at writing Ollie on a regular basis.

Bendis. This is a character that would play to his strengths as a writer. Greg Rucka is another choice, but I’d rather see him on a BoP book, with art by Sejic.

Someone who realizes the character is not stuck in the Dennis O’Neil age. The last writer on GA that I really enjoyed was Judd Winick because the focus of the book was family. You had Dinah, Connor, Mia, etc and that book was a lot of fun with that strong supporting cast.

Yeah, of any DC character, I think Bendis would acclimate to Ollie quick.

Bendis' Ollie is... meh. Not as bad as Percy's or Taylor's (both fall into pretty different, yet stereotypical takes on the character) but still his voice is not as good as I would hope for, particularly because he doesn't address his personal flaws at all (I don't think anyone who knows Ollie as a character would call him "a good man").

Sure, Bendis hasn't written Ollie for too long to completely judge him but at the same time, he's not really good at creating complex characterization as a whole.

I mean, flaws and all, I'd say he is. He tries to be, even when he stumbles, and he's a hero.

It's actually more complex than that. Just because I wouldn't call Ollie "a good man" it doesn't automatically make him a bad one.

I think an important distinction is that he tries to be a good man.
