Who should write a Green Arrow Regular?

I really want Garth Ennis to do an out of continuity GA story. I know he hates superheroes but the beauty of it is that he doesn't have to write Ollie like one.

Bendis. This is a character that would play to his strengths as a writer. Greg Rucka is another choice, but I’d rather see him on a BoP book, with art by Sejic.

Reading Checkmate and seeing what Bendis is doing with Green Arrow & The Question, I have to agree, my top pick would be Bendis.

I thought so too, but his efforts so far have convinced me otherwise.
Strangly, he's barely made an appearance in Checkmate, which I find odd as he's supposed to be the leader of the group.

I think Green Arrow title should be the 'fun' street level book while the Bat books are darker and more noir-ish.

I’m sure a lot of people would hate on this but I totally agree. Bendis does his best work with street level characters and “Bendis speak” would actually work with Ollie. Plus it’s obvious that he loves Green Arrow.

Though if he is a good fit for the rest of the Arrow Clan is another question entirely.
