Anytime I think of Penguin, I don't even think of the one on Gotham. Nope, I see Danny DeVito.

I don't see it. I coulda seen Andy Serkis more.
It's the Dynamic Duo! Batman and Robin!... and Red Robin and Red Hood and Nightwing and Batwoman and Batgirl and Orphan and Spoiler and Bluebird and Lark and Gotham Girl and Talon and Batwing and Huntress and Azreal and Flamebird and Batcow?

Since when could just anybody do what we trained to do? It makes it all dumb instead of special. Like it doesn't matter anymore.

I don't think we need to go that far. It worked for Arkham Penguin, but the monocle as a whole is more important from iconography standpoint.

In most circumstances, you just want good actors in any role. Colin Farrell is a good actor. Thus, yes! I'm good with it. There's this thing in Hollywood called 'makeup' and 'prosthetics'.

Every post I make, it should be assumed by the reader that the following statement is attached: "It's all subjective. What works for me doesn't necessarily work for you, and vice versa, and that's ok. You may have a different opinion on it, but this is mine. That's the wonderful thing about being a comics fan, it's all subjective."

Wow. What an interesting choice. I agree, though. As long as they don't make him some sort of pretty boy, I'm looking forward to what he might do with the character.

I can see Colin Farrell as the version of the Penguin that was in the Telltale series, where he's a prep boy rival of Bruce Wayne's and forces a hostile takeover of Wayne Enterprises.

He's a more weasely upper-class pretty boy schemer, rather than a sideshow freak in a tuxedo.

Again, I don't want another normal looking Penguin .

I am super-excited to see Penguin. He's a favorite of mine and it always annoys me when fans try to downplay him in favor of overrated villains like Black Mask.

I think he could pull it off. I would like to get the noir-themed Batman movie that was talked about earlier, but I'm not sure that's happening now.
