Uncanny Avengers

Concept

Mutants have been put through too much genocide and are heading down darker paths, the Inhumans have gone very wrong, Magic is not evolving and there is some real nasty stuff going on in places that no one thinks of. Thus, Infinity and some of the more still stable cosmic beings have assembled a team of Mutants and Super Humans to deal with these problems and find out what is going on.

Thus, with so many heroes dealing with their own problems (and infighting, Civil Wars and that sought of thing) they are forced to look outside the toy box and call up a team that can work as a team and are not on the main rosters or being used by anyone.

They will be chosen by the stable cosmic beings to find out what is going on.

The Team is as follows

Leader

Jim Hammond/The Human Torch
The Stark Tech has been removed and Jim has been restored to full blazing glory chosen to be leader as the first Marvel his years of experience will guide the teams’ mission.

Bonita Juarez/Firebird
Brought in as a therapist to help our hero’s she also brings her powers to the team. She is the heart and soul of the team helping to keep it in one piece. Is also set free of the Brainwashing

Hyperion/Marcus Milton
Found during the team’s first mission he bring his powers and strength and Heart to the teams’ mission. He lends his strength to help his teammates acts as the second in command and does a good job of it.

Darkhawk/Dean Everett
A New Holder of a Darkhawk Amulet he is a normal everyday person who has done some super heroing before joining the team. He is learning to be good user of the Armour and a good hero.

Scarlet Centurion/?
A powerful and mysterious Time Traveller acts as the team’s tech guy, tactician, and trainer. Unlike other users of the name he is not a bad guy, he is game changer and a powerful wild card

Cerebra/Shakti Haddad
Found during a fight with a “Kang” by Darkhawk (in an adventure that happened before the team’s formation to be explained in mini) she acts as the team’s tracker and psychic.

Brighid O'Connor/Phoenix
The Unlikeliest welder of the Phoenix since many of the Holders have gone insane from outside sources or wielded by mad people (yes this also includes the Avengers). Since the Phoenix has been split apart that many times it is up to her to put the Phoenix back together again fully healed. A Doctor by trade she could be one of the better welders of the Phoenix

Mister M/Absolon Zebardyn Mercator
The most unlikely member of the team saved by Infinity he joins the team fearing that he will be misused by the X-Men or by certain villains. He helps out with healing and helping the others.

The Staff of the Celestial Mansion and the Town

The Celestial Mansion

The Celestial Mansion is the base of the team, It is hidden by the still stable cosmic beings so that the Uncanny Avengers have a save spot to live from it is very well equipped with many high tech tools becomes a place of baroque activity as the teams look into the mysteries of the Marvel Universe and bring home items and information to study. It is meant to have a more nicer feel then Avengers Mountain which is nothing but new place of Evil to come from.

The Town

The Town is a place that allows people to live and for those that are saved by the Uncanny Avengers it can hold many people it is based on quite a few city's that are the most liveable city's in the world" it also has green forests and mountains

Mr. Scratch
Unlike the rest of his kind he is a good deviant for years he has been studying the Mahd W'yry and its Deviant version he is helped by the Uncanny Avengers in finding a cure also he has been studying the Terrigen Mists as we meet some deviant inhuman’s who should not be. Thus, he offers his help so our heroes can find out why the Terrigen Mists acted like they did and other such problems.

The Nuhumans
Naja, Flint, Naja, Iso, Inferno and others are saved during The Gas Man’s fight with Uncanny Avengers and the Kree they are taken to the Town to live Mr. Scratch also heals the Nuhumans of DNA damage this helps them gain new powers and stables them. Naja gains the power to heal herself, Inferno gets better Power Regulation and other are saved.

New and Old Villains to appear if we can use them.

MODOK 3.0
A newer and better version of MODOK can use his very mind to tap into the internet, control computers he also has the genius-level intelligence and mental powers but now upgraded to horrifying levels he can match the likes of Jean Grey. Is genuinely concerned about improving man’s technology and not caring about the cost.

Goblin Queen
It is not Madelyne Pryor that is the Goblin Queen this time. This new Goblin Queen is hell bent not only taking her out but also kill the Shi'ar, she is someone who could have been a X-Man and could have been guided and trained by them. And with her comes the Goblin Force a fully broken piece of the Phoenix that has gone mad and must be destroyed.

Talon/ Dargin Bokk
Taking advantage of a Cosmic Cube Shard and the state of the MU Dargin Bokk has made suable changes to the Marvel Timeline controlling the history of the Dark Hawks to become Talon and become a God manipulating the history of Christopher Powell and others to do so.

The Gas Man
The Gas Man is strange being often appearing out of mist that gives people powers if he chooses to do so, His main goal is to spread the gas that he uses to kill mutants and empowers humans. He also seeks to find the Nu-Humans and protect them from mutants.

An unstoppable monster that may or may not be unkillable The Gas Man is a man of great power that knows the reason why the Inhumans are acting the way they did and what really happened to the Terrigen Mists and the Inhumans. He seeks to put the Inhumans back on top of the world.

Cassandra Nova/The Mummudrai
With giving Cassandra Nova Empathy Jean Gray made the biggest mistake in her life. She gave Empathy to a being that could never deal with it as a Mummudrai is never meant to have Empathy thus Cassandra has gone mad to deal with it she has two forms the first is that of Cassandra Nova a kind creepy old lady who talks to eerily sedate people about issues like bottled up emotions and psychopathy she reveals to the world in subtle ways that she had found a way to suppress the darkness within it only manifested as a way to protect her and her friends. (Think a Marvel Version of Bray Wyatt) She has been passing the gift of Empathy to people who needed but it has been driving people insane breaking them.

She also appears as a part of the War of the Hammers Crossover as the guest host of the fight show helping to break

The Swordsman
A highly skilled swords man who walks the world carrying many blades, He has the power call up any magic blade in the history of the world, he has a knowledge of those blades and how to use them. He is the Marvel Universe’s version of Roronoa Zoro with the skill and power to back him up, he is out to kill the X of Sword Fighters as the Tarot Card reading has been manipulated by Sublime who used Ulysses Cain to do it and the whole thing is a sham. He wants to fix it and he is willing to go thru anyone to do it.

Sublime and his family
The Virus that has messed with the evolution of mankind and both sorcery and science making shore that humanity stays where it is. Thru out history they have messed up any chance of us changing and keeping the likes of Wanda Maximoff and Hank Pym down and out and not getting any help for their problems. It came from space yes the Sublime Virus came to Earth via Celestial the same one that died on Earth.

During the Story’s that include him we see what they have done over the years and in the first story we see where he came from. We also get a history of the Sublime Family as we find out that John Sublime is not the only human form of Sublime that has appeared over the years.

We see these various family members appear during the various marvel ages, and the people and hero’s that he that faced and manipulated, including Stone Age, Medieval age, Viking Age, Cowboy age and the ages of heroes from the 1920, 1930’s, 1940’s, 1950’s, 1960’s (The start of the Modern Age of Hero’s) up until now, We see what damage they have done in a possible history spanning miniseries. (or several as we have a lot of ground to cover for each era)

In a six part crossover with the Eternals we see a family tree of Sublime’s showing these “various people” in the City of the Gods (Yes it was destroyed but we find out now that is not the case and the Sublimes has been studying the city and using it secrets).

Of course, the City is one of the places Sublime and his family have been operating from, as the mystery deepens, we see other places that have been taken over.

Storylines

The First Storyline should deal with The Teams formation and first fight with MODOK 3.0 also we see the Gas Man start to move kidnapping people to make into Inhumans and kidnapping the hidden Nnhumans

The Second Storyline has the team find the Deviant scientist Mr. Scratch who has been studying DNA and various sciences trying to save both his race and the Eternals from destruction from the Mahd W'yry (yet another version of Sublime) here we start to see how long Sublime has been on Earth. They find a cure and save both Deviants and Eternals they also face off against the newest Sentinels ones that can fight gods.

The Third Storyline finally has the team fight with The Gas Man who has based himself in the State of New Jersey and try to make it a new home for Inhumans he we see his agender when he meets the Black Panther the Gas Man speaks of how Panther kicked out the Mutants of Wakanda to die in the Terrigen Mists to keep Wakanda stable and able to enjoy Inhumans as friends and that Wakanda’s Humans are better.

This story is one of the reasons why the higher up are not trusting the Avengers is the Black Panther sees that his people are scared of Him and their fellow Wakandans. They have suffered much and have been hoping to be saved they and the nuhumans are taken to the town.

Another storyline has the group study the history of the Marvel Universe to look into the evolution of mankind and finding out about the various tribes that lived in the past and how they were taken out here they meet the restored Neo who are being studied by the Evolutionaries who are also trying find out what is going on with Humans but are heading down darker paths to do it. The Neo are taken to the town so they can live there.

The First Crossover with a title

When both the Uncanny Avengers and the Eternals receive a SOS from the remains of the old Eternal city in the Andes both groups must team up to save those who are meant to be dead but the Master of the Sentinels the Man known as Jack Sublime who own links to John Sublime and his family are shown. During the crossover, the teams find a room in the city with dozens of items and pictures with various Sublimes over the years. Both teams win gaining information on Sublime and saving the people.

That sets up at least a years’ worth of story’s in the second year it is the Mystery of the Goblin Queen and that of Madelyne Pryor who has come back as Madelyne Pryor. And the finding on Earth of the Hammers of the Worthy, the Hammers of Cul Borson by someone who wants them. This leads into the War of the Hammers a big event

It starts with a Miniseries showing the Kidnaping of several Teen Hero’s stating with the members of the Runaways, the Power Pack, The Champions, the Children of the Atom, Young Avengers, the Kids of Strange Academy and the remining Avenger Academy members. This number can be made smaller, but it is clear that only eight of the teens will become the new Worthy.

They are taken back to the Avengers Arena and are tormented by a person who appears to be Arcade who uses footage of the various major mistakes of the hero’s and stuff that happened at the hero boot camp in Stamford. He points out that this is what the Avengers, FF, X-Men all believe in they are also are mocking the kids beliefs thanks to this and certain devices the kids start to fight each other in combat.

Meanwhile Squirrel Girl ends up with Ratatoskr, Loki, Gravity, Aero, Sword Master, Sun Girl, Red Widow (Ava Orlova) to find them with C.R.A.D.L.E going after them Loki manages to keep the group ahead of them to find clues to where they are. Loki and Squirrel Girl quickly realise just what is happing thus they need help when they see the fights and a hammer, so they go to the Uncanny Avengers for help as with the first Avengers Arena no other hero has noticed and at the end of the story we find out Arcade is not Arcade.

This leads into a big crossover War of the Hammers it runs thru Uncanny Avengers, The Eternals, Aero, Swords Master, Children of the Atom, Strange Academy and one-shot chapters for Champions Young Avengers and Avenger Academy

The madness starts in The Eternals who help out when turns out that Arcade is broadcasting the Fights to certain people using their Technology, they track down the transmissions they also see the footage of what the heroes have done and this has the Eternals scared as they see the younger hero’s as part of the evolution of heroes and that.

Because of the devices and Cassandra Nova’s powers they have to fight the kid’s, but they have to hold back. Even Loki has trouble handling the kids trying to save them with his powers, as the fight continues Squirrel Girl, Phoenix, Chi-Demon find out who the real mastermind behind both is Arenas it is none other than D'Spayre.

Also, as the kids are being saved by the heroes and taken off the island D'Spayre uses his powers to bring back the victims of the First Avengers Arena and the New X-Men that were killed by Striker (during the New X-Men story arc "Crusade") as a new Legion of the Unliving telling them that they come back to life if they can beat the other teen hero’s for the hammers.

The Fight is on due to the Legion of the Unliving wanting to live once more rage at those trying to save them as the fight goes on, we see that some of the more broken kids are slipping wanting to use the hammers hearing the call.

As the fight goes on the heroes realise that this does not make sense considering how D'Spayre works. It is not when Squirrel Girl, Phoenix, Chi-Demon come a back with a worldwide study into PSTD and how many events have affected mankind they realise what his plan is.

Step 1. Kidnap kid heroes to make them fight do it once hide out wait for right moment.
Step 2. Do it once more and get them to fight once more.
Step 3. Make last 8 the New Worthy
Step 4. Set them on Heroes also show world about bad stuff, the various mistakes at learning centres, and the Nasty stuff to ramp up the fear
Step 5. Profit

Loki realizes that the only way that the hammers reappeared is after the Secret Wars or the War of the Realms shaking them from their hiding places, but even he admits he does not know how D'Spayre got the Hammers in the first place.

The heroes realise that they have to fight D'Spayre and save all the kids. So, the most powerful will face him due to him being so powerful thanks to the fear generated from the kids, while the others must find a way to save the kids all the kids so they don’t get the hammers.

They win in an epic fight with D'Spayre getting the loss, but it is a bittersweet victory with 8 of the kids (The really afraid ones who are damaged and afraid of Kamala's Law, the brainwashing of C.R.A.D.L.E and other stuff one will be Kamala herself) nearly getting the Hammers due to the Avengers showing up late interfering but due to them understanding what is going on Hammers vanish, the Legion of the Unliving are restored by Zuras and Phoenix using their powers and The Machine to bring them back to life. Also, the darker side of C.R.A.D.L.E is shown to the world before being stopped this all sets up a very major event

Meanwhile at a hidden base enjoying a drink is Jack Sublime with all 8 Hammers it was he that gave D'Spayre the Hammers he knows that 8 of the kids nearly had the hammers and he knows that one day the hammers will be theirs. He walks away knowing that on that Day the Evolutionary War will start. He also offers Cassandra full membership to his Masters of Genocide as part of his master plan.

And that is the first few storylines.
