For really no good reason or premise at all( aside from making me laugh A bunch of characters with Fs in their name Form a team. I think maybe they band together to fight Fing Fang Foom. I give you

    Fixit and Friends

    Joe Fixit
    Fandral
    Fancy Dan
    Flexo, The Rubber Man
    Firebird and
Falcon( Sam) Considered the name F Troop and Also Effin Troop. I originally saw this as just a whimsical Buddy cop- Road picture type story with Fixit and Fandral. But now Fancy Dan is Fixit’s side kick that he keeps around because he’s a fun. Some enchantment causes Firebird to fall madly in love with Fancy Dan. Dan is too ethical to accept her affections knowing that she’s been Whammied . Maybe He’s under a spell too . Anyway Firebird gets cured and leaves.... but who should show up declaring undying loyalty as a Herald to Fancy Dan but Firelord?

    Captain America and the Defenders

The Secret Empire has conquered the U.S.A. and more and eliminated a good part of the Super-hero community. 20 years into their oppressive rule, a frozen man carrying the shield of Captain America is found. A budding resistance movement is able to rescue him, however, it is not the man they thought it would be. Reuniting the few super-humans that are still around, and that the Resistance knows of, a new team is forged, The Defenders.

Captain America – James Buchanan Barnes is found frozen in a cryo-chamber, in possession of the shield of his former partner. Though fearing that he is not the leader that Steve Rogers was, having once stood in for him, James decides to rise up to the challenge and once again dons his own Captain America suit, and takes the lead of the small taskforce of super-human operatives in the service of the Resistance against the Secret Empire. Master tactician and strategist, superb hand to hand combatant, expert marksman and possessor of an advanced cybernetic arm. 2 T.
Energizer – Katie Power, the youngest of the Power Pack siblings, and one of the two single survivors. Katie was one of the few super-powered operatives at the service of the Resistance Movement, and she took it upon herself to keep her fellow super-heroes together and working well with the movement. Until Captain America came along. Katie becomes his second in command, working really hard to turn her rag-tag band of fighters into a real team. As Energizer, Katie can disintegrate matter, transforming it into energy, which she can transform into powerful destructive blasts, or even use to fly. Over the years, and with training, has gotten real good at storing the absorbed energy for longer periods.
Pathway – Laura Dean, formerly of Beta Flight. Laura was never much into the super-hero life, however, when the Secret Empire annexed parts of Canada, at the cost of many members of Alpha, Beta and Gamma Flight, including her twin Sister, Goblyn, who perished in battle, Laura decides she can no longer deny her responsibility and joins the Resistance Movement, becoming best friends with Katie Power, and having a crush on her “bad boy” of a brother. She has learned to be quite dangerous wielding her ability of opening dimensional portals, for much more than just transportation.
The Thing – Ben Grimm, the sole survivor of the whole Fantastic Four family. Suffering from survivor’s guilt, Ben has spent the last 20 years deep in a cave that leads to the destroyed subterranean kingdom of the Mole Man, in self-imposed exile. Not even when Energizer and Pathway came across him, while they were hiding from the Secret Empire forces, did he agree to leave the cave and go with them. However, that all changed when Captain America came seeking him out, even if it was not the Captain America he was more familiar with. The sight of the man wielding the shield was enough to inspire him. And Ben proves to be invaluable as the new team’s heaviest hitter. Time seems to have left Ben larger, stronger and tougher than ever, and there is not much on the face of the Earth that can withstand his strength. 100 T.
Mass Master – Jack Power, Katie Power’s single surviving older sibling. Reluctant to return to the super-hero life, Jack had pretended to have lost his powers, an act that allowed him to survive the super-hero culling implemented by the Secret Empire. No longer able to continue hiding, Jack agrees to help his little sister, Katie, when she joins the Resistance Movement. Hardened and cynical, Jack is, nonetheless very proficient in the use of his abilities, and a great fighter to have watching your back in battle. Able to control his body’s own density, becoming a mist of vapor, able to fly, or condensing his body into a minuscle super-hard and heavy form. 5 T.
Jennifer Kale, Sorceress Supreme – With the death of Dr. Strange, Brother Voodoo, Clea, and many other wielder’s of the mantle of Sorcerer Supreme, the title, and the power that comes with it, ended up falling with the then young sorceress Jennifer Kale. Over the years, her mystical power and control have been greatly refined. Though her main responsibility is safeguarding the Earth dimension from magical incursions from other realities, Ms Kale is also at hand to help the Defenders whenever necessary. In exchange, the Defenders are there to help her, whenever she needs.
Lord Doom – Kristoff Vernard, heir to Victor Von Doom’s vast fortune and intellect. The Secret Empire deposed and killed Dr. Doom, putting someone working for them on the Latverian Throne. However, Victor already plenty of his vast resources hidden around the globe, in places known only by his true heir, Kristoff Vernard, a boy that once had Doom’s intellect and personality grafted over his own. Cured by Reed Richards, Kristoff retained his adopted father’s prodigious intellect, and soon came to make peace with the sovereign of Latveria. Now an adult, Kristoff may well be the smartest man alive, and has put this intelligence at the Resistance Movement’s service, in hopes of avenging his former master. Arrogant and disruptive, Kristoff is, nonetheless invaluable to the resistance, and, though Captain America has his hands full keeping the Latverian in check, he proves himself up to the task. Oddly enough, Kristoff shows great respect for Ben Grimm, with whom he seems to develop a strong bond. Kristoff and Katie also seem to have something special going on between them. Responsible for designing most of the team’s and of the Resistance Movement’s gear and equipment, Vernard also built for himself a high-tech suit of armor containing many defensive and offensive weapons, similar to Doctor Doom’s, that he uses to go into battle as Lord Doom. 30 T.

Not trusting super-humans, The Secret Empire doesn’t have many employees with inborn super-powers working for them, however they more than make up for this with technology, having numerous thugs wielding high-tech armors and weapons in their payroll, as well as legions of heavily armed soldiers.

My new Ultimates line up is well, Ultimates West Coast in nature. Their adventures will be science driven, high stakes and all, but also kinda wacky.

Team leader Simon Williams (smarter than he looks, not as smart as he thinks) and Hank Pym (certified supergenius) have a strong mutual respect which is good cuz they don’t get a lot of respect from their peers.
Jennifer Walters on the other hand, is well respected by everyone. She can take you out on the battlefield or the courtroom, take your pick. Then you have Gwenpool, the perkiest super ninja ever, and Squirrel Girl; everybody loves Squirrel Girl.

The team’s first adventure will take them to the Baxter Building, for a little pest control. Residents are reporting power outages, strange noises in the walls, and that spooky being watched feeling. With the FF not in residence at the time, the Ultimates investigate, discover, and eventually contain, dozens of malformed Reed Richards clones from Earth-21923.

Over the next several weeks the team will deal w. a bunch of other odd dimensional breaches and begin to piece things together. The breaches are just fallout. But from what?
Well, turns out that a few years ago a new group of heroes were supposed to debut, but were so awful plans were scrapped and they never did. Now these heroes (Screentime, Snowflake, Safespace, B-Negative, Trailblazer), from somewhere outside time and space, are about to rewrite history to make it so they actually did debut.
The effects to the multiverse (and Marvel’s sales) could be catastrophic. Only the Ultimates stand any chance of saving the day.

“To me, my Young Avengers”. The ultimate Sidekick Supreme is at it again. Using the Destiny Force, Rick summons a handful of junior heroes from across the Multiverse to help save him from some really cosmic level bad guys, unconsciously modeling the group after the original five Avengers plus one.

    JAMES ROGERS (Earth-61616)
The son of a super soldier and a spy.

    THOR (Earth-21923)
In a world gone mad, Dani Cage wields mighty Mjolnir.

    IRON BOY (Earth-96020)
    Oh, this can’t be good.

    STATURE (Earth-616)
    It’s Cassie Lang!

    BRUCE BANNER JR. Earth-(807128)
As smart as he is strong.

    STINGER (Earth-982)
    It’s Cassie Lang!

The Fantastic Four were retconned into Marvel’s WWII history as a backup feature in INVADERS 20 (1977)!
The group was never officially given a name in-story, but that story’s called “The Fantastic Four”, so yeah!
Thin man has a super secret mission to perform, and recruits three other heroes who’s powers and skill sets are what he requires to get the job done.

    THIN MAN
Has the pliability, AND the scientific aspect on lock. He’s got tremendous knowledge of the advanced sciences and technology of Kalahia, the lost Himalayan civilization where he got his powers.

    ROCKMAN
He may be the leader of Abyssmia, an underground civilization descended from the first colonists of North America, or, he may be completely delusional. Either way, Rockman is def. superhuman, having super strength and speed as well as a high level of invulnerability and great combat skills. Thin Man needs all that.

    TORO
The youngest of Thin Man’s recruits, Toro is a strong team player, having partnered w. The Human Torch, and been a member of The Invaders, Kid Commandos, Young Allies, and The All-Winners Squad.

    GHOST GIRL
The Scottish superheroine has a belt using technology that even Thin Man finds impressive. With it, she can generate a holographic "ghost" double of herself and mentally manipulate it to confuse her enemies.

    The New Nightshift

A team of dark heroes - Similar to Justice League Dark but with a more macabre feel, similar to the feel of the 70's and 80's horror comics.

    Dr Strange
    Jessica 'Spider-woman' Drew
    Medusa
    Tigra
    The Shroud
    Gypsy Moth
    Werewolf By Night
    Black Mamba
    Cloak and Dagger
    Darkstar
    Mayhem (Green Police woman)
    Cloud (From New Defenders)

Issue 1 - A small town in Europe is covered by a thick black fog. At the centre, the castle acts as a beacon - Attracting Cloak (and Dagger) Black Mamba, The Shroud and Darkstar (all welders of darkforce power) who meet at the outskirts of the town. The castle is 'calling to them' as they approach then see a swarming mass of darkness, thick like tar, twisting and turning and consuming the last remains of Asylum, Silhouette, and Shadow Woman (Jillian Woods) as well as an unknown Inhuman with darkness powers.

The Shroud sends out a distress call which reached Dr Strange, Jesica Drew and Tigra. At the same time the unknown Inhuman sends a distress call to Attilan which is received by Medusa. Cloak and the Shroud combine their powers to teleport everyone to Dr Strange's sanctuary. Medusa is teleported there by Lockjaw.

The dying, consumed by the darkness are sent for medical aid while our newly formed Nighshift confer. And plan to return to the village prepared. Dagger invites Mayhem to join and Dr Strange recruits Cloud (she/he has been staying with the Doctor) and The Shroud turns to old team Mates Gypsy Moth and Werewolf - This rounds out our strange team.

As the team enter the town they discover that the townspeople have been turned ito wraith like shadow creatures - immaterial so unable to do any damage but in constant pain and anguish - flying round the heroes they taunt them and when they touch them their fears are brought to life. A bulk of this first issue addresses each characters past and their fears and imperfections. Tigra faces her fear of abandonment - looking back at her time on the West Coast Avengers with rose tinted glasses, her anguish when she thought Mockingbird was dead, her distress when her cat side overtook, her defeat at the hands of the Hood. Jessica relives her issues in a similar fashion Strange eventually works a spell of protection and the team move forward. In the castle they again face ghosts of the past as they struggle to reach the centre of the dark force projection. When they do they find Nekra and the Grim Reaper and an all new Legion of the Unliving - An assortment of dead heroes and villians the duo will use to prevent our heroes interference - They are The Original Swordsman, Brunnhilde the Valkyrie, Bill Foster Goliath, Smasher I (Imperial Guard) Hank Pym and Kraven The Hunter.

A throwback team that sees Cap, Vision, and Scarlet Witch recruit a group of “New Avengers” to keep things going after a major exodus of the regular team.

Falcon’s a meta case of being new, as he actually joined right around the timeframe this build is set in. Regardless of continuity though, he’s always got Cap’s back.
Then we have Powerman & Iron Fist, kind of feeling like fish out of water but inspired by Cap to step up.
Nova is a little bit in awe too, as he'll arguably be the team’s Heavy Hitter.
Dazzler is actually pretty excited about the invitation and will show a lot of enthusiasm and willingness to learn.

    The 4 Horsemen of Apocalypse

Tandy Bowen. - War. gives her low level psychic broadcast that blocks telepathy and makes people more and more violent when the light she sheds touches them, she gets brighter and brighter also to the point she can envelop a city in conflict like a bomb. She's also gone berserk and doesn't communicate outside of using her light displays to do basically emoji's

Kilgrave (The Purple Man) - Pestilence - En Sabah Nur changes his body to and his power to be a vastly contagious mind controlling plague. He's also given durability.

I'm not sure how else... but I got a few candididates.

Enh, throw in Jewel and Cloak

Cloak works as Famine, his darkness already hungers, now it hungers for everyone's inner light.

Jewel as Death, enh just have her punch people to death. Archangel uses metal blades, though blades with a deadly toxin. So add a deadly toxin to her punch?

Ya know... one thing about famine is that FAMINE isn't the one that supposed to be hungry. He's supposed to make OTHER people hungry.

That being said I think it doesn't have to be mental... hmm...

    Maybe Black Tom Cassidy:
Originally, Black Tom was a mutant whose principal power was the ability to generate and discharge concussive blasts of force and heat through any wooden medium.
Later, his physiology and morphology were radically changed, and he became a humanoid plant form capable of living in several different bodies and infecting foliage and trees to make them a part of his body.[
So Maybe he can just do famine the old fashion way... screwing with the food chain. All En sabah nur has to do is enhance his already existing powers, and change his look.

    Who... is Jewel?

Jewel, aka Jessica Jones I picked as an opposite to Purple Man... since she had a rather famous run-in with him.

Hmm yeah Black Tom works too I guess. I suppose I left out that this version of Cloak would make people hungry when he drained them.
