You were Spider-Man then. You and Peter had agreed on it. But he came back right when you started feeling comfortable.
You know what it means when he comes back

It was the jetpack he wasn't strong enough to wear because of the limitations of technology back then. Now that technology has advanced past those limits, he can wear the jetpack. For more details, read his story in King in Black: Planet of the Symbiotes #2.

Since Marvel is doing a massive homage to DC in Heroes Reborn II, I figure I might as well create a version of DC's notorious Royal Flush Gang using Marvel characters. Simple rules, the characters have to keep the card theme going by incorporating the various playing cards Ace, King, Queen, and Jack into their names without it seeming too on the nose. (I intentionally avoided Jack of Hearts for that reason.) Oh, and moral alignment doesn't matter. On this parallel Earth even the heroes are villains.

With that preamble out of the way, I present Fatal Fortune, Inc.

Heroes for Hire – Home base: Chicago.

    • Power Man – Luke Cage, CEO and field leader. Super-human strength and steel hard skin. 30T
    • Iron Fist – Daniel Rand, CFO and 2nd in command in the field. Martial arts expert and occult consultant. Wielder of the powerful iron fist.
    • Spider Woman – Jessica Drew. Head of investigations. Flight, strength and venom blasts. 7 T.
    • Black Cat – Felicia Hardy. Security consultant. Peak human athlete and bad luck powers.
    • Machine Man – Surveillance specialist. Walking tank and gadget factory. Flight and strength. 20 T
    • Ant Man – Scott Lang. Information gathering and infiltration specialist. Shrinks and is a highly skilled hacker and engineer.
    • Prowler - Hobie Brown. Tech support. Suit filled with gadgets. Rarely takes the field.

Among the personal staff that Danny hires to help administer the Heroes for Hire enterprises are Executive Personal Assistant Bambina Arbogast and Corporate Lawyer Miguel Santos, a.k.a. The Living Lightning, who is not up for joining the team on missions.

Daughters of the Dragon – Home base: Detroit. Metahuman detective agency. Their work often intersects with the H4H's.

    • Misty Knight – Bionic arm. 5T.
    • Colleen Wing – She-Samurai.
    • Diamondback - Rachel Leighton.
    • Silhouette – Sil Chord.
    • Tarantula _ Maria Vasquez.
    • Marvel Woman – Sharon Ventura. 25T. Returned to her human form, though considerably tougher than she used to be.
    • White Tiger – Ava Ayala

Wild Pack – Heroes for Hire greatest international competitors. A super-powered team of mercenary for hire, though their leader Silver Sable is an honourable person, she is not as judicious as the H4H in terms of the missions she picks. Home base: Symkarian embassies all around the world.

    • Silver Sable – Silver Sabilnova. Leader. Security and surveillance. Proficient in multiple martial arts and in the use of a variety of close combat weapons and fire-arms.
    • Paladin – Paul Denning. Sable’s second in command. Head of investigations. Enhanced physical attributes and marksman skills. 2 T.
    • Rocket Racer – Robert Farrel. Technical genius. Armed with magnetic rocket-powered skate-board and high-tech body armour and weapons.
    • American Eagle – Jason Strongbow. The muscle. Fugitive retrieval. Superhuman physical attributes and enhanced senses. A highly moral and independent man, Strongbow nonetheless joins Sable intent on using her resources to track down his long believed dead brother, Ward, whom he receives news may be alive. The Eagle often serves as the team’s conscience, and had a hand in indicting arguably the most powerful member of the team. 20 T.
    • Sepulchre – Jillian Marie Woods. Infiltration expert. Darkforce energy manipulation allowing her to fly, cast shadow fields and phase through shadows. Living in France, working for Roxxon Oli, Sepulchre is convinced by Jason Strongbow to join the Wild Pack. Disgusted with the work she had been doing at Roxxon, and always having felt attracted to Strongbow, Jillian leaves the oil company, against her employers wishes, something that may have further repercussions down the line.
    • The Cat – Shen Kuei. Martial artist lacking in morals. Soon found betraying the team for his own selfish ends and replaced by:
    • Bengal – Duc No Tranh. Martial arts expert with excellent tracking skills and a strong moral code.
    • Lightbright – Obax Majid. Ability top generate light and heat in a variety of effects such as power-blasts and flight.

Occasionally, Silver Sable resorts to specialists to fill the eighth slot, specialists such as Le Peregrine, Spider-man and the Puma.

    Peace

Mr. M is okay and the Doctor is solid as well... swift is... meh but she fits.

    Engineer is good.

    Who will Jenny "Quantum" be
My priority is enjoying and supporting stories of timeless heroism and conflict.

going for an old fashioned Fearsome Five/Brotherhood of Evil vibe; a mixed bag of villains w. varying power levels, motivations, and temperaments all working together somehow.

Revamping the team. Keeping the ones I liked most and replacing the ones I liked least. Using the original Excalibur line up as a very loose jumping off point.

I don't have a cool name for the team, but I'd like to see Silver Surfer, Nova (Rich), Shadowcat, and Phoenix (Rachel) as a team for no other reason than those were my favorite characters when I first got into Marvel.

I'd also like to see Sandman go straight again and lead a heroic version of the Frightful Four consisting of himself, Electro, Trapster, and Diamondback.

Marvel’s extraterrestrial experiment from the seventies. They put together a team made up of aliens who were based on, or spent a lot of time on earth, and earthlings whose powers had alien origins.
Sadly, it never took off, no pun intended.
